Hi All, The PSU of the pc died on me yesterday and I exchanged it with the one from my X-5000, which is a Lepa Maxbron B700M (so 700W).
I am looking for a new PSU since this one is not available anymore so was wondering what Amigans are using in their machine (and I think 700W is probably too much even with a RadeonHD R9-270 or RX 580)
I would say any 80plus bronze psu @ 500W or above would be fine. Even in the worst case scenario, a RX580 would never be above 300W, and the X5000 is so low power there is not much else to worry about.
Its more relevant to make sure the psu is 80 plus bronze/gold standard than wattage.
I have been using BeQuiet! PSUs in all of my NG Amigas, for years without a glitch. The one I have in my X5000 is a Pure Power 10 80PLUS Silver (now likely discontinued but you'll find a similar one I'm sure).

I would strongly recommend to choose for X5000 a PSU with the HIGHEST possible quality (and often price ;) as the Cyrus board is very expensive and sensitive!
I'm just now testing in my X5040 a Seasonic Prime TX-650 650W PSU. I had earlier the 550W Seasonic Focus many other users recommended here, but after I started to have those sudden "shut-down's" I decided to test the Prime which is of higher quality. I will see later whether it solves the issue... At least some of the voltages are higher than they were with the 550W Focus.

I got it directly from Seasonic. I had an older 660w modell in which there was a problem in the power switch. It was still under guarantee, so they replaced it with the TX-650.
My AmigaOne X5000 tries to boot at first but it leads me to press 2 times the power button in order tom power on
I want a 500W or 660W PSU one for my needs. Where can I buy it? And at which price
I am with this annoying and "unprofessional" issue since ages.
Cheers
