First of all thanks to all who participated in this month's discussion.

After much discussion, here are the winners:

Resized Image Richard Drummond, An Amiga Enthusiast who first came to prominance as a member of the legendary Amiga Format Magazine team and has gone on to develop various bits of software for Amiga users, including E-UAE, Kudo Deluxe and various amiga libraries. Cheers Richard!

Resized Image Bj?rn Hagstr?m aka Orgin If it wasn't for Orgin, we wouldn't be here now, for without him there wouldn't be Amigans.net, OS4Depot, Open Amiga project and no doubt, sometime in the future, the Babylon Project too! Cheers Orgin!

As per normal, all we are asking you to contribute is a minimum of ?5 Euro's, depending on what you can afford for each cause.

November's Featured Donations.

Resized ImageAndrea Palmat?. Thanks to his efforts we have an indispensable port of MPlayer, plus numerous libs, a plug in for DVPlayer, some games, cairo 2D gfx library as well as contributing to OWB.

Resized ImageHenning Nielsen Lund. Rarely seen on Amigans.net nowadays. HNL is very much the programmers, programmer, having written ABC-Shell and a whole host of differing SDKs and programmers utilities.

@Raziel

The Babylon Project was a dream given form . . .

. . . it was a place of commerce and diplomacy for a quarter of a million humans and aliens . . .

. . . it was a self contained world, five miles long, located in neutral territory . . .

. . . it was a shining becon in space, all alone in the night . . .

. . . and it was our last, best hope for peace.

The Babylon reference was just me being silly.

I would say that Amiga world is:

. . . it is a place of small markets and companies for a quarter of a thousand aliens . . .

. . . it is a self contained world, a few miles long, located in PC territory . . .

. . . it is a shining boing ball in space, all alone in the night . . .

. . . and it is our last, best hope for fun computing.

As usual, two worthy causes.

Let's make sure they don't vanish off the bottom of the topics list.

IOW: Bump!

Best regards,

Niels

P.S. Yes, I know they are also available as separate buttons over to the right, but more visibility cannot be a bad thing, right?
