Upload feedback possible?
Home away from home

Hi orgin,

while i understand that "normally" this should be handled by the browser...would it still be possible to add some kind of "upload bar" or other means of feedback when uploading through the wepage's "replace file" form?

Odyssey doesn't give any feedback and with rather big uploads on a rather slow landline i need to use a third party program to tell me when the upload is going to finish.

I'd be happy to have a simple percentage display, doesn't need to be a bar at all.

Thanks a lot

@Raziel
You can always upload via FTP, which should give you a progress bar...

I could do that, yes, but i like the webpage better, no need for an extra program

In Odyssey, at the very bottom right, you can click on those squares and it will give you a status window and show your upload progress. Same with IBrowse IIRC.

It's strange that modern desktop browsers on PC don't have that. On Firefox I use an extension called UploadProgress. I could probably use the F12 dev tool but that's overkill.
