ABasic

I'm looking for a copy of ABasic. It's the version of BASIC that shipped on the Amiga Workbench Extras Disk v1.0. This version of BASIC was written by Metacomco and isn't related to the AmigaBASIC written by Microsoft.

Does anyone know where I can get ABasic or an ADF of Extras Disk? Googled around for quite a while and found the patches that enable it to work under KS/WB 2.0 or greater, but no luck finding ABasic itself.

I'll have a look in a couple of hours when I get home

Well, I just have too many disks LOL

And the other thing is I don't even have my Amiga with a disk drive hooked up and won't be doing that for a wee while yet, so sorry but it'll have to wait...

hopefully someone else can help you... I know there was a site online that collected all the revisions of WB released but I can't recall...

This is maybe the site that you are talking about:

http://www.gregdonner.org/workbench/

As i can see it has ABasic version 1.2 with Worbench 1.3 as the latest version.

I know that.

It is up to somebody else to sell/give you the original disk.

Which disk? I see a lot of Fish disks with ABasic games and programs but I've yet to find one with the interpreter listed.

I know it came with a Monopoly game. I might be mistaken so I'll have to check.

Edit: Ok, I've checked and have to admit I was mistaken. I got it with the Monopoly game that's in Fred Fish, but ABasic's not in the FF collection.
