Amiga 1200 & AmigaOS 3.9 help

I need some help with my Amiga 1200 and i hope somebody can help me. Amiga1200, ACA 1233-40 Acceleratorboard (40MHz 68030), Indivision AGA MK2cr A1200-A4000T scandoubler/flickerfixer, 19" cf-card as harddisk using SFS, AOS3.9 with BB1-4.

My questions:

1. My ACA 1233-40 Acceleratorboard is really nice but what will get me the best performence when it comes to configure it? I m using ACATune -maprom * but what more can i use to speed things up?

2. I m using Indivision AGA MK2cr A1200-A4000T with PAL-High res 800x600 but i want to use 1024x768 but i get graphic glitches then. Anyone managed to use 1024x768 without problems? I m also using 64 clolors.

3. How do i get rid of the workbench borders?

4. When i start a whdload game i get graphic glitches after 2-3 minutes and after that it freezes. Happens to all games.

2. You need a grphics card to get up to 1024x768 and you'll get 16 million colours too. you can also try DBLPAL HIRES which will give you around 720x580 without flicker.

3. theres a menu option in the first workbench menu, backdrop iirc, not used workbench for years.

You can use Fblit to speed things up a little more.

Is the board seated properly. It shouldn't give you any problems running WHDload games or otherwise. I never tried the higher mode because I was using a Mediator + Voodoo 3 but I played plenty of games using it.
