this time the installer should work for amigans. The game will not be playable yet (AFAIK), but we are hoping to rectify this soon.

Please test for us, that the installer is sound now

we need A1, micros, pegasos 2(os4.1) (and even try it on Morph if youd like) sams, A1200 and a4000 running OS4 classic

It is an open source implementation of Starcraft USING Starcraft data sets and the Startagus engine. I have Warcraft 2 installed via this engine and it works great, these guys are trying to bring us Starcraft. I have tested and it installs with no problems but I couldn't get anything to run BUT I have a new Sam flex and still feeling my way with this HW. Let's all get behind this and see how we can help, perhaps A1s will get further, who knows. At least the install is squared away.

Hahahahaha.

The whole idea behind our little port, is to use the original starcraft cd on your amiga to install it on your amiga.

SO yes, you dont need shetty windoze.

Just chuck in your original starcraft cd upon request, make sure youve created a stratagus directory, despite the fact that one NO LONGER needs to download stratagus to paly it

OUr install script comes with a 3mb version of stratagus, basically, the important bit to play the game.

Also, thank you for your info, I am aware that Ive had prblems on my SAM, but as for Mufa A1, I didnt expect that, as my colleagues A1 it works on his. He can jump in and play. :(

I get the same as Mufa also but it does complain about the "startool" first
with a dsi which i have to continue with.

Seems the original conversion stopped in 2007 at a point far off a complete playable game.

Strange, ON my sam, i did this, installed the version that I uploaded.

Used Unarc to unarchive it into ram

Created an drawer named F**kY*u and inside this drawer created another drawer named Stratagus.

Then double clicked in the ram icon, double clicked the stargus drawer, and before pushing the install icon drawer, I simply made sure my original starcraft cd was in the cd rom drive and my amiga miggy recognized it.

Then pushed install, and it installed.

Can you and CAP please give me a brief run down of how you guys are installing it?

Just to reply that it installed fine for me the same as Walkero.
It just doesn`t run.

I created a drawer called Stratagus and it installed fine into that.

When trying to run it cannot find a lot of files.
Mainly unit wav files.
A1200 060/ppc Grex/Voodoo
OS 3.9
