That guide you found tells you how to set-up SFS on an empty harddrive, and probably MickJT's guide does too. If you follow that without understanding, then you will probably completely wipe your current OS4 system (all partitions).
It is also needlessly complicated, and also contains at least one error (the idea that .recycled files take space & should be deleted... they don't & shouldn't).
Here is a quick guide, although if you don't understand anything then cancel (i.e. don't save changes) and ask:
* Go to Sys:System folder, and run Media Toolbox.
* From the window, choose sii3114ide.device (if you have a Sam440 anyway).
* From the window, select your harddrive (the "Unit type" will be "Fixed hard disk"), and click on "Edit partitions and filesystem" button.
* You should now see a list of all your partitions! Click on the one you want to change to SFS, and then click on the "Select filesystem/edit details" button.
* From the Type list choose "SFS\00". Then make sure that Blocksize=512, Buffers=1000, Maxtransfer=7FFFFFFF, and Mask=FFFFFFFE. Once you are totally sure you got this right, then click on the "OK - accept changes" button.
* Now click on the "OK - accept changes" button in the main window. This will likely give you a warning saying that the contents of your chosen partition will be lost. If you see that any other unexpected partitions will be lost then please CANCEL, reboot, and then try again.
* Assuming all went OK, you need to reboot for OS4 to see the changes you made, so do so.
* This is where I am not sure exactly what you will see (going from memory), but I think Workbench will show something like "yourpartition: ???" where yourpartition is the name of your partition. Please click on this, then go to the Icons menu & choose Format. Give the partition a nice name, untick the Trashcan option (unless you actually use the useless Trashcan!), and then click "Quick Format" & confirm you really want to wipe it. And yes, I do mean QUICK Format, not plain Format, otherwise you will have to almost wait hours for the format to finish.
You should now be done
. Well, you will have to copy your backed-up files back, but hopefully not too complicated (just remember to select "Show > All files" first if copying them using Workbench).
