Keyboard not working since update 4?

hi all i have just installed update 4 but now my keyboard is not working? Does anyone have any ideas?

Try it on different usb ports and see if it works better.

Well i have tried creating a folder in games as i have alot of adf files i would like to use for runinuae but when i try to name it adf folder a black bar comes on at the top but i am able to use delete and enter key but that is it?

well that is strange it has decided to work now? If it happens again i will let you all know :)

If it's anything like mine, since update 3 and continuing with update 4 it randomly stops working. Unplugging and replugging it fixes the issue.

Fortunately my mouse seems stable now, under update 3 it would often only work for 1 or 2 seconds at a time, which you can imagine is quite annoying and more annoying than the keyboard giving up after ten minutes.

Also the Notepad issues have not been fixed...

What notepad issues?

The clipboard issue AFAIK came up later than is the date on the Notepad version string. I have been using these 4.1 Notepad versions despite that, because I tend to copy only a few hundred bytes of text to the clipboard.

Is your keyboard connected DIRECTLY to your machine? i.e. One of the USB ports at the rear of it's case.

Does your keyboard have a built-in USB hub, such that it has some spare USB ports on it?

PLEASE report back, or problems like this will likely remain unfixed.

Yes my keyboard is in the rear of my case and it is just a bog standard usb keyboard with no usb ports on it.

OK, that makes it difficult to deal with, because the problem seems to be specific to that keyboard. What is the make & model?

I dont know what kind of amiga hardware you have. However i had a problem when i changed battery, all my uboot config was lost so i had to configure again. Im on AmigaOneG4XE. When i booted i had the guru meditation while booting. So i had to deselect "enable port 0 and 1 (rear)" for usb ports in uboot menu. Then i didnt have any guru meditation anymore and could continue using my amiga with usb keyboard/mouse etc.

Keyboard is working fine now have not got a clue why it was playing up but all is good atm :)

I did see errors within the USB log as well. Unfortunately it does not appear as though it will allow you to copy and paste from the log and I have already gone and disabled the ehci driver since it was driving me a little crazy with the unplugging/plugging of the keyboard.

I never had this problem before update3 but before update3, AmigaOS4.1 also didn't support USB2 forcing the device to fallback to the USB1.1 standard.
