Haven't tried this latest version just yet, but the previous version (Dec 31) had wrong colors at Mega Drive's Burning Force.
I hope you'll find enough motivation to complete the SNES driver at some point!
Cheers!
EDIT: Tried with the new version, the colors are still wrong. Also, a big (for me) problem has apeared with this version: I can no longer use 1 and 0 on keyboard for start and back functions and as my joystick has no such buttons, it makes many games unplayable.
I have here a PS2 pad too but the problem that the hat and the left anaolog stick after first use stand at the right direction and go no back. Maybe you can fix it
Tommy can you test this new FBA R3 with your Playstation 2 pad and report back if this problem is gone on you ?
Here the problem still also with the very latest R3 ...
An example of the problem, let's say in Steet Fighter 2 or similar games: if i did a fireball with Ryu, then after the fireball Ryu begin walking forward (or back) in depend of his position at the time of my move ... in short as you reported the left and the right hats sometimes still automatically pressed !
The problem with the left analog stick is a general problem of AmigaInput. We only have one default driver for USB gampads and none special driver. I have tested some USB gamepads in the last few years. Most of them have the same problem that the left analog stick doesn`t work. There is a directional drift.By coincidence I got this pad: http://www.amazon.de/Hama-00062860-US ... Black-Force/dp/B000PHCJG6 This pad solves all my problems. It works as it should.Workmanship is good, precise control. I use this pad for RunInUAE, FBA, FPSE and all other games i have installed on my HD. I would recommend it but give no warranty. I bought me two of this pads and both works fantastic. My old Playstation 2 wirleless pad have i sold.
Thx for the suggestion! I have to admit though, I'm using the same controllers with euae and mame and have no "drifting" problems like I have with FBA, so, I think it's not amigainput's fault.
Mmm I agree with Vulture, i also think that in this case it can't be an AmigaInput's issue, even because we don't have any similar problem in other games ..
With exactly the same pad i've playing a lot of other games (and emulators) from Huno and others and the only program that have this kind of issue is FinalBurn so it must be a FinalBurn issue not an AmigaInput'one
Here with 5 different joysticks I have no worries but hey you still found or it may come in the code. Then I just found a big bug in the interface due to the integration of this machine images and crashes the machine if you stay too long in the individual settings of the game, a fix as executable will be at your disposal waiting for me to do the new archive Thank you for your patience HunoPPC
About the "big bug" you said, during my test i used to have a couple of ISI crashes, they rarely happen can say, i noted that they happen more often if i put a game in pause and then wait, even if it look different compared to the problem you described it could be related to the same issue ?
The crash are this:

About the Playstation 2 JoyPad, to be 100% sure i've now retried two awesome programs you released, OpenBor and GnGeo ... both seems perfectly fine regarding the controls, but in FinalBurn still this problem .. strange because this hat issue is not always reproducible, but you will note it during your playing and it's not so rare ..
- FBA 0.2.97.34 R4 for AmigaOS4 [hunoppc]. - Fixed reload default locale after reset all prefs - Optimised refresh screen for all filters - Added informations of register key or not - Fixed crash on hardwares sprites - Added quit game on joystick with push button 1 and button 2 simultaneous Download here: http://hunoppc.amiga-projects.net/
R3 and R4 on Final edition I get a dsi error which if ignored allows FBA to run ok.
Here is the crash log.
