Compiling with C++11 breaks other source parts.

I tried changing the source code to
std::codecvt<wchar_t, char, std::mbstate_t>

But then got following errors:

But afaik wstring_convert is also deprecated in C++17 ??

Unfortunately my C++ knowledge is not enough to make the required changes.

Thanks to Kas1e, afxgroup and trgswe for their answers and of course Filip Maryjañski for his 1.4.1 MorphOS sources.

I managed to compile DevilutionX 1.4.1 for AmigaOS + SDL1.2
Diablo and Hellfire game modes work, also save/load is also working.

Game is around 23-25 fps in Fullscreen 1280x720 resolution. I can switch to windows mode, but then mouse stutters.

Here is a video of DevilutionX 1.4.1 running on Sam460.




I haven't managed to compile with SDL2 at the moment.

I will upload it to OS4Depot.net after some testing.

Strangely low fps.. I remember it was very-very fast even on slow machines. Try SDL2 version, maybe that will improve things

When I switch to 640x480 resolution, fps is around 65-70 fps.
I guess the game is designed to work on 640x480 resolution ?

Thank you on this port! It is my kind of game! Also, on my config I have 40-50 fps in 1024x768 resolution, pretty enough

so starts fine lets me pick character and then get "out of hash space' then exits to Workbench and system crashes?

hmmm I just updated to v5 radeon driver yesterday and wondering if this has something to do with this as it was working fine other than saving game last time I tried it

update:
tried again with SDL2 executbale and working again just no save

Thanks for the port!

I am running the original campaign with files from GOG where I bought the game.

I've stumbled on a problem though. I have cleaned up the first level of the dungeon, but when I try to go back to the village, I get an error message.

"Unable to open save file archive"

After that nothing happens and I can not continue playing the game. :(

Any ideas? My save file is from within the Dungeoun.

Current Amiga computers: Vampire V4-SA, Sam460ex, A1-X5000/020
