@Hans While its indeed make things easer, in case with Ami603 tests he still didn't build it outself, but we in irc doing remote tests : he say what to do, i do so, compile and test :) There more that Ami603 was motivated to do work when seeing code :)
Back in past when we port first versions, Deniil from Onyxsoft help me the same way : remote tests . Pain, but with IRC and stuff its more or less ok, as programmer care about code only and i care about non-interesting stuff like compiling/testing and co
It's just that because of confination, i don't have another machine available for crosscompiling as of now.I had a look at the source code and i thought i could help implement some code to make it video accelerated. Once i have a machine available for crosscompiling i might do it faster. However nothing keeps me more motivated than being able to code under our preferred environment :)
However, I did find that if I spoof as Nentindo WiiU YouTube works without the YouTube script. In fact it seems to use the built in player like when you play HTML5 embedded videos
While yes, still something wrong when you use Nintendo WiiU spoof. It maybe start to use some very big-resolutions by default, because in fullscreen running from nintendo wiu spoof on youtue, cpu loading still very high. While the same video loaded from default spoof + youtubefix, in 720p , give me 70% of cpu loading.
Also some videos will just not works as i can see with that spoof.
Maybe when we do spoof as Wiu it just set to 1080p ?

So, now that we have decent video playing in Odyssey what do we do with it. Click the link below for some ideas: Odyssey Tested Video/Audio Sties
Can't load your site from my place now, but we can hope that Frank will made port of ffmpeg v4 with the codecs need it only for browser (there was speed drop in some codecs, such as divx, but as browser don't need that , we can reuse v4 of ffmpeg too). So that will mean more formats and stuff support. Through it need some work to be done on ffmpeg's part of odyssey, and Frank maybe will deal with.
<p> Hi all</p> <p> First of all thanks for updates and improvements.. It works very well on X5000. I also tried this version on A1222. <a href="imgur.com/a/qRAs8uv"><img alt="" src="imgur.com/a/qRAs8uv" /></a>The videos are displayed to the left of the screen (please check the link below)</p> <p> I have the same GPU Radeon R7 265 as X5000 and running the latest version of RadeonHD commercial drivers.</p> <p> <a href="https://imgur.com/a/qRAs8uv">h ... All the bugs about Tabor imho of no value now, as that Tabor stuff is still in beta, and who know what else buggy in and what else should be fixed/changed in OS components for Tabor.
From screenshot above through it looks like something can be wrong with CompositeTags or so for the Tabor, so imho worth to report to those who works on Tabor's ISO.
Code are open now so those developers who have Tabor and all beta stuff can check if it their fault or our one :

Try clearing your cookies and using the default Odyssey user agent. When I was playing around with spoofing as different browsers I ended up in a state like you are seeing. Video off to the left and not respecting boarders. When I would move the browser window peices of the video would get left on the screen (not running) outside the browser. I was able to recover by clearing my cookies and restaring Odyssey. All is working good again. This is on an X1000 with HD 7750 graphics card.
I have been having a frequent MediaPlayer DSI crash with subsequent 100% CPU when going to my Webmail page (mail.yousee.dk), but I thought I'd wait for the next beta before reporting it.
I am happy to say that it is now gone, so no need for a report!
Nice to see the good teamwork, small donations on the way .

That very bad then ! If it possible to see on other platforms, then it may be not Tabor problem. Can you somehow reproduce it maybe or so ? Maybe video was off wasn't composited based ? On screenshot from Sinan its cleare out of the main border.
@Sinan Do you have latest MUI by the way ? I mean very latest public version from muidev.de ?

I can only get it to happen if I run Odyssey on a screen that doesn't have composting enabled.
So...on the Tabor, either the screen doesn't have composting enabled or composting doesn't work right.
I tried the latest beta version from a fresh directory and video is not correctly clipped. It can render over the borders or even Workbench. So problem is not probably Tabor-specific.
I should probably update my MUI system as starters.
EDIT: enabling compositing effects in GUI prefs helps here too.

Strange! Then it probabaly should report that "no compositing video avail" and exit from fullscreen, as on those cards which have no composited video ? Just curious if it bug somewhere and where.

I remember you say you have clipping problems even with first your tests too ? Maybe something about system (outdated mui, or graphics.library, or older RadeonHD driver), or so ?

Click link below for what it looks like when composting is not enabled for the screen Odyssey is running on. It is using composting as the CPU usage drops and it plays well. Shouldn't composting work within a program independent of the screen setting. I know MPlayer does.
Looking closely at the Tabor screenshot I'd guess he doesn't have composting enable in the GUI preferences under the effects selection. Could be wrong though.
@Ktadd Oh damn crap! Can confirm that when you have disabled compositing effect in prefs:gui, then video is outside of the window , while it indeed works fast as expected.
Strange, because compositing effects and compositing video are different things, right ?
But then it mean that we may have some issues with compositecall setup maybe ?
And probabaly Tabor's issue Sinan have are because he just have disabled compositing in prefs:gui, as it looks really the same as on his screenshot for me.

Ok, meantime i tried to verify if the old problem i had that caused the consumption of all the memory (till the freeze) still also in this version ..
Well it still exactly the same and is easy reproducible on my machine playing both videos and audio streams.. all you need is found a long video in youtube (30 minutes+), sit watching it without touch anything on your amiga, and only wait
At some point all the memory ends and machine freeze (or bad dsi happens)
The same happens with the audio stream, just sit and wait, wait.. till it hangs for bad!
@samo I do not know if that one possible or not possible to fix by us. If it the same on morphos (meaning its not our fault), then it mean that its webkit done like this. So need some deeper understanding if it possible to fix.
Yep .. only problem I can't test on any other platform than this .. Do you still have your Pegasos2 with MorphOS installed ?
Meantime if not, you can try to reproduce it on your os4 box, atleast we will be sure if it's a general problem or not
P.S. Can test things only in window mode of course, but while videos runs i see that screenblanker is not turned off Perhaps you can avoid it by using a similar code you applied in DOSBox ?
