I tried it last night and works great. Although I didn't download anything. Maybe it could have a "recent files" list, and when it is minimized it could inform you about new uploads.
Thanks for this fine utility. Can we hope that you will give the source, so that we could learn something from it?
I hope you've already come out with a new revision because as soon as it downloaded the db index it locked up my system so completely I had to do a hard reset and several soft ones.

As I said, it works fine for me. I need some more info like a serial log for example.

Alex.
It doesn't come up with a Grimreaper, the system just locks up/freezes.
I am running from ram:, and have created a directory on the hard drive which I selected. Then there is the 100% bar, and then I then get the list of categories in the main window and "equal 0, obsolete 0, new 1797, changed 0." in the text box below and the system locks up.
Same as the 3 before, locks the machine with no GR after having downloaded the index. Launched from WB or CLI.
Bye, TMTisFree

@AmigaClyde If it doesn't lock up for you too :( Seems to be a serious problem.
@All who tried it so far: What computer do you use? Which version of the OS? Are you an OS4 betatester? Does it work for you? You can mail me the info in private of course to alexwe at alexwe dot de
@all: I could reproduce the problem when I have lots of programs open. So I checked the code again and I have found an uninitialized variable. Could be that this was the problem - after I fixed it I couldn't reproduce the bug again - so you might want to download and try it again.
I downloaded it again. The archive filesize was different and the executable filedate was for today, but when I tried to execute it the same thing happened and I noticed the version number was still 1.0. And just to be sure I had replaced the old files with the new ones.

Ok, 1.2 didn't lock up the system after downloading the db index, but I was able to make it crash by highlighting the "OS4DepotGui.guide" and hitting the Readme button.
