There's just this special something about comment #18 that I just like so very, very much.
This place is an excellent peaceful retreat where we'll be able to hear from genuinely constructive people without them getting drowned out, and get things done for a change.
Support Amiga Fantasy cases!!! How to program: 1. Start with lots and lots of 0's. 10. Add 1's, liberally. "Details for OS 5 will be made public in the fourth quarter of 2007, ..." - Bill McEwen Whoah!!! He spoke, a bit late.
Great to see this is finally "out of the closet" now. I've already gotten a lot of help from a lot of great people on here, so I think I know where my new internet home will be. :)

This is really really good news......what i've wanted for a long time now. A new site with OS4 only stuff. It's just sad that AW didn't see it coming, because I once had that same kind of joy because of AW.net (when A.org exploded)
Anyway I surely hope this site (amigans.net....hmmmmmmm dunno if i like it) never ever will drive off the road like the two others did.
WAY TO GO DUDES!!!!!!!
now get working on the colours, smileys, topbanner, etc, and make this site even more beautiful than AW, and oh make sure everything is easy to read.
No, this site will not go "off the rails" as you put it, because unlike other sites out there, the people behind this site are commited AmigaOS4 users. We use it every day, we know the software and the hardware, we know its limitations and we know its strengths.
Above all though, we are not an amiga inc worshipping site. All we care about is AmigaOS4, whilst still looking back to the past for Classic and Emulation users.

However, I probably missed the reason. Is this because AmigaWorld has become more... hmm... blue?
I think it is partially yes, not that there is anything particularly wrong with that. There was room for an Amiga-only site IMO.
We have 2 sites where the Genesi/Amiga users mix (Amiga org and Amigaworld), a MorphOS only site (Morphzone) and now, an AmigaOS only site. I think everything is now covered :)
