You could also try LoView from OS4Depot. It includes a nice thumbnail viewer that displays the entire EXIF data for jpegs created by a camera. If the jpegs have a builtin thumbnail it loads thumbs really fast. Otherwise I think you get datatype speed for thumbnail creation; so the speed varies depending on the image type.

thanks.
Speed is nice.
Double clicking LOView opens on the image. You then can "rename" the file and there copy the name to clipboard (which is what i was after)
