@Hypex The laws of the country of the seller apply, not the ones of the country of the customer. For example if you buy something from Luxembourg companies such as Amazon or Microsoft, or Ireland companies such as Apple, Facebook and Google, the EU laws are applied. Unless you live in the USA, Canada or Mexico, in which case US subdivisions of those companies are your business partner and not the EU based main company. If you have a problem with a company outside of the EU, such as eBay (Switzerland) or PayPal (UK), you don't have any rights from the EU laws, even if you are a citizen of the EU, but the laws of those countries apply.
