I am not able to run the AOS 4.1-version, I get the message "unable to open audio.device".
I have followed the instructions.
Hi.
I don't think it's a tabor specific issue, but rather an aeon specific issue.
This morning i installed payback on both my X5000 and tabor.
On the tabor i got this "unable to open audio.device"
That message usually means that something is locking audio.device so i rebooted without the wbstartup by holding down the "disable wbstartup key" (i had forgoten wich key it is so i had to test a few times, was it shift?)
Ran payback again and it started just fine. The big difference between my X5000 and tabor installation is that on the tabor i have alot of enhancer stuff installed and started from wbstartup, on the X5000 only the needed hw drivers are installed so my main suspect is that something from the enhancer package puts a lock on audio.device.
afaik modern software should not put a lock on audio.device so the guilty component needs to be found and reported to a-eon on their mantis or whatever it's called.
I will do it if nobody else does it but atleast not today.
