Responded too quickly. Next time I used that version of NetSurf, I tried Reuters and the mouse pointer disappeared and my system froze up solid. No response to reset key sequences.
I had to power off and on to recover.
First time I have ever gone to Reuters website with any Amiga web browser, so don't know if it is just bad luck or an issue with this version of NetSurf.
Update#2...
Ooookay...
Reuters website also freezes up my system using NetSurf 3.11 I had to power off and on to recover.
Perhaps my ancient system can't handle this website.
I've had a play around with c-ares today. I've added some code to get the DNS servers (which is what I thought the problem was) but it hasn't helped.
I cheated a bit by only opening bsdsocket for this one function - probably it needs to use it throughout the code rather than clib/newlib (especially when it gets linked to curl as that uses bsdsocket directly), but I don't think that's the problem here.
OK, I think the problems are all fixed now (mostly thanks to MickJT). I don't have another test build at this time, but all scenarios should be working; gethostbyname_r crash circumvented Threaded resolver working without using the above SSL errors fixed by using AmiSSL
There should be a full new release before the end of the year, and the CI builds will be working imminently.
Thank you very much this is a great news. I'm looking forward to testing the new version of NetSuf and using it as a browser for some things. Thanks again to MickJT for the support

I'll have a look, I haven't used the iconify for years so can't remember how it works. I think there might be an option to minimise to AmiDock instead?
The topic options don't work yet as they use unsupported Javascript.
Do you mean bookmark toolbar? That's possible by moving items into the hotlist toolbar section in the hotlist editor.
Thanks for the information, I didn't know how to set it. It works fine, but there are problems with umlauts ÄäÜüÖö and the small icon previews, you can see it on the screenshot.

In the past I always used the Default theme, but this time I am using the AISS theme. I didn't have all the required AISS images so I borrowed some images from the default theme (hotlist-add, hotlist-rmv and closetab).
Still need to sort out the "button" that shows the warning symbols. This "button" is on the left side of the url. Currently blank.
Other than that, this version of NetSurf is working well for me.
