If you mean scanning the stations, there's always a way... for instance, having the address in devs:internet/hosts point to a server anywhere, which has a listing setup as TN expects.

I use streaming on a daily basis with TuneNet, but I don't care about scanning.

Update 13: A playback lirary has now been made by the author of Klystrack, this could be used instead of the commandline player to make a plugin if you prefer that.

Check under klystrack in post #1 for more info.

Do you know any place to download Klystrack (.kt) modules?

Edit: Found some test modules in the klysplay archive on OS4Depot.

Klystrack has evolved quite a bit since my os4 port.
Check the google code page for more recent tunes.
I failed to port more recent versions of klystrack itself.

I know I've already asked about Symphonie but can a plugin be done with this?

All those .S files in the source, IIRC, are Assembly source. I'd assume it's designed for the 68k so there's very little chance of being ported to OS 4.

Thanks for your answer. Too bad since Symphonie modules are really bautiful (you need a 68060 to really enjoy them).

There is also a Java player for Sumphonie modules, I do not know if it would be usable for anything.

It's sad that we are still missing the two most important plugins to play music from our amiga and c64 past... (c64 sid and all exotic amiga formats). Is anyone working on a libsid2 based plugin?

Salass00, any progress on the uade plugin? Have you started working on it or is it still just a plan?

I made the skeleton of the plugin yesterday and got it compiling yesterday evening. Unfortunately my Ubuntu is having some major screenmode issues today that I would like to have fixed before I continue working on anything else...

Also if someone could answer my questions regarding xpkmaster.library xfdmaster.library support then that would make testing the uade plugin easier as I have a pretty big directory of mod files in different formats but they're all powerpacker packed so if I could get XFH-Handler to handle them then that would be nice.

I just reask and repost your questions in the os4-beta list (in case if not everyone from os4 developers read hyperion's support forum). If something will come up from this i will let you know of course

salass00, there's also amiga depacker.
I ported version 0.3, it's available on os4depot:
http://os4depot.net/index.php?functio ... lity/filetool/adepack.lha

BUT... version 0.4 is out now, and it's available here:
http://zakalwe.fi/~shd/foss/amigadepacker/

it's written by the uade author, it unpacks most formats that mods are packed with. (mainly pp and sqsh).

update: removed ngpplay. as it is a dead project, and vgmplay plays neo geo pocket music anyway and it's in active development and tunes are being ripped.

update: i updated the link to the vgmplay sources as it has moved. this is a really active project and it plays a lot of different formats. neo geo pocket being one of the more obscure formats. =)
