But are you using "SFS" on the main AmigaOS partition?
Also at the end of updates 1 and 2 I can't reboot to activate the updates.
Do you use any utility or command to restart ?
Thank you.
No! The first partition should be set up as FFS about 60MB in size, you can call it BOOT, not enable bootbar and mount it as hidden.
The 2nd partition can then be set up as SFS (bootbar and auto mount). Then start AmigaOs4.1 Install Iso and format your partitions. Install AmigaOs4.1 on the SFS partition.
Important! After installing AmigaOs4.1 do not reboot, copy amigaboot.of from the installation SFS partition to your (BOOT) partition. Then you can boot directly from your SFS partition. Show hidden BOOT partition:
Open Install Iso....System/Mounter and then log on the boot partition to copy the amigaboot.of file from your SFS install partition to your BOOT partition.

@Maijestro The problem was the hidden Boot partition where to put the boot-loader. Thanks for your help
I did some little tests.
Yeh, it's ok at the moment but winuae is still faster.
But Qemu could open a new path this time in a faster way in terms of progress of the works.
I modified a HD by activating the Voodoo drivers.
Of course I can choose them but it's not supported but this time it should be easy to implement in Qemu.
And it would greatly increase the use of qemu with Voodoo by many users to use the 4.1
"See 'PCem' but I think 'ZBalaton' knows about it"
Even if it is not the ideal video card, it would allow you to do many more things natively and the speed of many applications would greatly increase.
(later the "ati" tab would be ideal)
If the topic continues then I have many questions about qemu management.
(Because in the backup I had on linux I can no longer find the commands I had written for the management of several virtual Hard-Disks, the mounting of a real partition, etc. Maybe I'll have them somewhere in some portable HD.
But I can find them online.
I hope so...
I look forward to further advice on this emulation, Thanks
What do you see when you close your eyes ? I see light, lots of light I see you, dad And I see mommy too And I see me and we are together And we play forever.

ZBalaton did a great job with the 501 driver, but it would have been possible much earlier if people had tested it. There is little support for his Qmiga project and he doesn't want to have to do it all himself.
How did you get ScummVM to work under AmigaOs4.1 Pegasos 2 could you tell me the way?
In the demo (Zero) you switch from window mode to fullscreen mode, the image is zoomed. Do you use a key combination for this?

Yes, I also noticed that my emulation is slower can you tell me how you set up SFS ? 00 or 02, blocks is the hexadecimal values.
Ask ZBalton to emulate Voodoo because then everything becomes more fun
It took Toni a day to get it into WinUAE once it was available with "PCemu"
I am registered on his forum but it will be years since I post anymore.
Thank you.

I have SFS 00 set up with a block size of 512kb. I'm also not sure if the 68k version has any advantages over the FFS PPC version for that I would have to do read and write tests. Personally I can't see any real difference compared to FFS.
Thanks for the link to ScummVM, I will test it right away.
One more question what is "PachTag" and how do I use it?
ZBalton will not do that. Qemu is open source and anyone can participate in writing patches and making it better. These are his words...
But it is also forgotten that not everyone is able to do it.
if you see in the video before using scumm i launch patchcompositetag

Well that's clear that the work is completely free so no complaints.
I reported the filesystem problem from qemu version (( 3.0.0 )) that SFS didn't work and that FFS had partitioning problems.
So since then the virtual HD I create with WinUAE work fine. And then once used with qemu I can also use them with WinUAE to make quick changes.

if anyone has done this before, any help is welcome.
Thank you.

to make the most of it I should find the specs for the Ryzen 5800.
But now it's much faster without debugging, that's okay.
also I would like to try to edit virt-manager (xml) to make it recognize the "IDE"
with something like this:

That is very good. Ok since you compile Qemu yourself there is a great patch you should activate. Set memory regions to native endian as a work around.
Go to your Qemu directory /hw/acpi/ open core.c with a text editor and search for endianness = DEVICE_LITTLE_ENDIAN change this line from LITTLE to NATIVE it should look like "endianness = DEVICE_NATIVE_ENDIAN".
There are 3 entries that have to be changed! Then recompile it, under AmigaOs4.1 you can now stop the emulation via the menu AmigaOs4.1 Shutdown. Try it out my friend
Leaving aside the implementation of Voodoo because it doesn't depend on us.
I noticed that deleting the monitor in Devs:sm502
Everything works the same is this normal?

@Maijestro Yes but only the "restart" works the other items work but the complete shutdown of the machine does not occur (basically the emulation doesn't stop) I changed all is three voices.
Maybe ZBalaton doesn't realize that by emulating Voodoo3 emulating him would attract many more people. And therefore people willing to help him.
Because until AmigaOS is emulated without a graphics card it doesn't offer much.
But rightly so, they are his personal choices, he probably has other priority interests.
(( also because the code is available he just has to implement it inside qemu. He doesn't have to write it from scratch ))

You need to modify the file from the Qemu 8 RC3 source before compiling. Only then recompile the whole thing and the patch will take effect.
ZBalaton would surely open a side project Qemu Voodoo emulation if I ask him, but as already mentioned he would not do it alone. He is more interested in the ati emulation, but there are no developers for that at the moment.
If we could get some developers together for this it would be easy to integrate the Voodoo emulation into Qemu. Also the SFS problem could be investigated further and many other things...
I am not a developer, I just test things and play with AmigaOs4.1

We could start a poll if there is interest for a Voodoo emulation under Qemu Pegasos 2 and present the result to ZBalaton, maybe he will be inspired.
Also the idea of the integration of the uae.gfx card was already mentioned and could succeed if Toni would provide the source for it. Or does this already exist?
Good to see Yes we are similar, like to use AmigaOs4.1 and like to test things and are not satisfied with anything that already exists and want to have it even better
Your WB theme is available on Os4Depot? I like it.
Voodoo 3 is clearly interesting with UaeGfx you have to resort to "wazp3d" and there would be no difference for the purpose and there is WinUAE for it.
Voodoo 3 is not the ideal card for 4.1 for various reasons. But it's a big step forward. And as already said the sources are available and are to be implemented in qemu.
But with Voodoo3 it starts to be more fun.
Try to see this Demo with Wazp3d or play Quake2
with Voodoo3 you have the "opengl" here you can see an example:

The theme I use was made by @imagodespira it's called EVO THEME I immediately liked it when I saw it.
It is not available on Osdepot to download it I had to subscribe to the German forum if I remember correctly
I think he likes his theme being used.
