Sounds good until you realize that the user will have to move the pointer off of the link to activate the menu. Holding the pointer over the link and activating the menu with a keyboard shortcut might work but would be really awkward and error prone.
Since OWB doesn't seem to use right mouse button clicks itself, you could intercept right mouse button clicks that are not over the screen menubar (dragbar) and call a script or command and pass the URL under the pointer as an argument. However, if that prevents the implementation of a good D/L solution I vote for waiting for a complete implementation.

I'd like to see a download feature in a future version aswell, but if possible with download manager (wget?) support (possibility to pause, break, redownload and recover) ... but of course, thats something that will take time, so no hurry

I'd rather have the bugs from bugs.os4depot fixed, especially the one i have with sourceforge.net's bug tracker

Thanks for this new version

But I wont implement downloads twice, it would stay that way and I'll never implement downloads correcly in OWB, at least not in the next 5 years, but implement other missing features instead.

Ok, I see. What about shift-click on the link to copy the url to the clipboard?
Most modern browsers have it.
Then one could have an option to take the url to whrever he desires.
And do the wget manually when possible untill the download is implemented.
(wget has options continue/to do partial downloads, to bypass the web cache, it's definitely better than nothing)

You can always highlight, and do a Ramiga+C, and paste the url wherever you desire.

No I can't, nether you.
The text of the link is not necessarily the link itself, unless it was created that way.

like :
<a href="http://www.amigans.net">this</a>

Edit: I see TSK beat me posting this idea...

For the next version of OWB I'm implementing the context menus for AmigaOS 4.x. Although some of the menu items are useless since they don't work in the AmigaOS 4.x port of OWB yet, for example copying images to the clipboard, saving images, downloading links, the sub menus for spell checking in input forms, etc., they include for example "Copy Link Location" which I've added in the AmigaOS 4.x clipboard implementation of OWB now as well.

That's really cool !

AFAIK OWB now use Zune on AROS, so maybe what about a MUI compile for 68k ?

Not for OS4 off course but almost a 68k release can benefit of that choice a lot, Rection isn't very modern, thinking about Reaction on 3.9 ...

@Joerg

Thanks mate
