What is your SDL Prefs ?
I also get black screen if my SDL prefs are different from "Default". But with "Default" SDL prefs, it works fine.

- Red Alert is not supported yet.

- I guess it is better to use data files that BeWorld and Arczi uses.

Checked prefs, and yeah, i were use "opengles2" driver instead of "default". Set to default, reboot - nope, still black screen. But then i noticed that i do have "batching mode" enabled, so i had to set it to default too, save, again reboot and nope, still black screen.

Seems something about my data files then ? But i use usuall classic C&C data files from original DOS disks

Working fine here on my SAM460ex and RX550

Using data files from morphos storage (IIRC) and changed conquer.ini with values from previous post.
The -nodaudio version got this on exit:
#vanillatd-noaudio
***¡Comando 'vanillatd-noaudio' retornó con señales sin liberar 0xF0000000!

"Unfreeded signals 0xF0000000"

Fixed this "Unfreeded signals 0xF0000000" error on no-audio version. I had to add SDL_Quit(); in the sources.

Please find the new archive in OS4Depot Upload section.

I also got a black screen with 100% CPU utilisation at first. This was because I put the binary in a folder one level up. Maybe you made the same mistake, but the AOS4 binary and configuration file should replace the ones from the MorphOS.

Awesome work done on this port. I tested v1.0R.1Fix on my X5000 with RadeonRX 550 and works pretty nice, with BeWorlds data from the MorphOS version. I even used full screen with 1920x1080 and the SDL driver to default and was pretty fast.

Unfortunately, I still get the crash on the exit, but I can kill the task and keep on using my system.

I had a few crashes here and there but overall is working pretty well. I will report back if more issues occur.

Yes Beworld's sources and afxgroups' clib2 helped very much.

Audio enabled version still has alc_cleanup crash after exiting the game.

I read that alc_cleanup warning is ok for other OSes, but it makes a crash with AmigaOS4.

If someone has a newer clib2 version of openal , I can try again.

I played up to the 5th mission which was in Germany and this is not possible to complete, because there are no enemy troops. Did anyone move further than that?

With all data files from morphos version things then works. With all sounds and stuff.

I did notice through that something there visual glitches like "lines" being drawn in some places of the map and wasn't erased properly.

Also F12 for switch between window and fullscreen modes works, but i assume that added by Beeworld and wasn't there originally ? If so, will be nice to have alt+enter works as well, and, what more important, not just take the same resolution as window to swith to fullscreenmode, but instead take the workbench's current screen resolution when swith to fullscreen mode (i do have necessary code to share if you need it).

It would be great if you can send the code . It is nice to learn something.

Do you have any ideas for fixing alc cleanup problem ? Have you experienced similar problem in your AmigaoS4 ports ?

You probabaly mean level 4, where you have lot of tanks , but then all what you need to do is to put your troops into helicompter, and take some "box" to finish the level. Through i do not remember such a level back in past, and it feels a bit "strange" indeed , i.e. why there needs to give tanks, if there is no enimies. It feels like this level broken. And after i finish it, i have a skippable GR.

Also what i noticed, sometime my whole base, start to be of one sort. I.e. you have all the different factories, and then bah, all of them are like many "machine producer fabrica".

So, there definately logic or endian bugs still there.

See on video those 2 bugs :

You can see all those "fabricies" which strangely blinks/redraws, and when you scroll horisontaly/vertically it left the garbage. Dunno about first visuall issues (seems like code-logic bugs), but second one (non-erased lines after scrolling) seems a bit like Endian related.

Yeah, quite offten back in past, but once i start to use Salas00's OpenAL port all start to be fine. I do not know if it possible rebuild Salas00's openal as it (i mean you can rebuild it, but will it works as expected or not, dunno). Because Salas00 doing there something with descrutctors/constructors if i remember right, and that can be different somehow maybe between newlib and clib2.

Bug with factories is an endian bug. It happens when saving game. In defines I had to swap some values from char to int because chars were swapped when saving on big endian machines. Make sure defines_BE.h is used in defines.h. I have finished GDI and have not had this kind of bug.

Hm, if i check this one: https://github.com/seventhwonder-amiga ... cd/tiberiandawn/defines.h

I didn't see there include of defines_BE.h..

As for issue with non-erasing whole content after move the map and keep those "trashy" lines, did you have that too ?
