Does this mean that all the soft, warpos in 3.9, work on OS4.1?

looks really interesting... Wasn't there a library doing the same thing? If I recall right, back when we were running OS4.0 it was working, but after a few updates it stopped.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

Hopefully this one will pull all the compatibility tricks they used in the WarpOS wrapper for MorphOS. I also hope it'll run on Sam460 and X1000, that way I might get a chance to complete Heretic II.

Here is the kind of program I would have liked to be proposed with the Enhancer Pack (and DvPlayer also).

There is something more interesting than having WarpOS again. The guy codes in ASM. I would like to see him work on optimising what we already have: Amicygnix, Odyssey, Mplayer, DVplayer, Nova...

I've always wondered whether the few decade-old apps or games are worth the effort needed to put into emulating or re-implementing WarpOS.

cool but still don't understand the benefit yet? So we can run only specific WarpUp/PowerUp prgrams under OS4.1FE? or will this do away with the need for E-UAE to run 68k stuff?

Don't know maybe its worth updating the wikipage with information like that.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WarpOS

I have added a few games and program to the list.

it's worth it for me. i'd pay a few bucks for it, actually. on slower systems having the ability to run fxpaint and perfectpaint WOS binaries really helps with usability through increased performance.

no idea about WOS games, but the few productivity titles that ran on WOS are pretty good. it'd be nice to see them running again on my X5K without using 68K emulation.

1° I need it, I used it a lot whith my former AmigaOne XE G4 (FxPaint mainly and somes games such as Nightlong).

2° I think the author is free to work on whatever he wants, even if we are waiting for something else.

Sounds interesting. I still have some old PPC "scene demos" that would be fun to be able to run again. It would be great to be able run ADoom at fast speed (the 68k version is a bit slow). I don't know if those old commercial PPC games like Wipeout 2097 & Heretic 2 would still run on OS4, but it'd be great if they did.

I think I'm the only one to get Shogo running on AmigaOS4, the installer don't work, and the GUI freeze, you need to manually install the game, and unpack the files, and when starting the game, you need to do it from shell.

Actually I think tried to install it in E-UAE first.

hm the problem is i CAN`T unpack the files . I tried HUNPACK from Aminet but i doesen`t work, neither the one on the Shogo CD.Maybe its missing some librarys?? I will give it a try on Amithlon maybe its a OS3.9 thing?

Ah, why wont you start a manual about how to install the game in the Shogo-Forum of the Hyperionwebsite? I think many of us would be thankfull about that?

I don't recall having to do anything special for Shogo to install on my AmigaONE XE. It does require an OS4 version of wizard.library for the GUI but that's available on OS4 Depot.

There's no point installing it on the X1000 just yet anyway, nothing mentioning PA6T support in the commits so far. Hopefully support will be added.
