@imagodespira Hi, I started your game under FE update 1 for the first time today and noticed that all gfx seems to lack antialiasing. for example, all font characters are aliased and all bubbles are not very circles. Under FE update 0, it was perfect. is somebody else have the same problem ? By the way, it doesn't avoid my son to play ;)

@zzd10h Thanks zzd10h. I wanted to see what you were describing, and ended up playing the demo for about 20 minutes! I played it in windowed mode and 1920x1200 full screen and didn't see any aliasing. Paul

Question to you: did you run "fixfonts" after update1 installed, as it was asked in installator ? (maybe that somehow related).

I tried here on my Sam460 with clean AmigaOS 4.1 F.E. + Update 1 install and it works as expected, with antialiasing. I also have no Sobject replaced, all versions from Update 1. Any (Picture) Datatypes installed which can occour the problem?

Really strange, installed Warp Datatypes and works also. Also checked versions of libpng again, same as yours. Which RadeonHD driver do you have (but should also be the same as before Update 1).

Ok, maybe i found something. The overall compositing scaling is not the best in every case, maybe i am and the other users did not see the issues because we have a FullHD screen. I switched into 800x600 Screenmode like your sample images and have the same pixelated graphics. Is your Monitor still 800x600 or can you try a higher resolution ;) Regards, Thomas

I have RadeonHD 2.21.
But I don't know if it worked before RadeonHD 2.21, I didn't started Bubble since weeks. But, sure it worked under FE update 0

I'm at 1920x1080 ;)

My mistake, I started Bubble/Config and see that I had 800x600 screen. Reverted to 1920x1080 solved the problem. Sorry and thank you for the clue ;)

But not the game is running in FullHD. Please can you start the config within the game Drawer and set your Fullscreen gaming mode? Maybe since the new install the ScreenID is different and the game choose a fallback Mode for you? Note: Also just tried to revert libpng stuff, also there the same glitches with 800x600 (so it should be not a Update 1 problem?).

@zzd10h ok, seems we wrote at the same time ;) Nice that it works now! Anyway, compositing or PNG loading has a problem with Alpha Channel, Antialiased edges are colored with "black" as clear color and there we get some gray borders on some graphics. With some tweaks while saving a PNG, it can be reduced... will check if the text in Bubbleshooter can be better... Regards and thanks for playing the game ;)

I have uploaded a reworked Font File here:
http://amiboing.de/zeugs/stdFont.png At least the gray shadows in the level screen should be invisible now.
Copy the png file to your BubbleShooter/font drawer and replace the old file.

(so it is not a problem of AmigaOS, i found out a while ago that i have to put an empty white hidden layer on bottom in the layer list to get alpha to white. If i forget it... like here, black is taken. It is not a problem on windows, but only visible on AmigaOS... i don't know why...)

Oops. . . I wrote that I was using 1920x1200. That should be 1920x1080.
I just tried it at 800x600 and get the same aliased results you had. Glad you have it working right again. Somewhat addictive, isn't it?
