I make all this.
But when shutdown the computer, and wait a moment to start, the clock shows 08:00 and date 01/01/2001. In every boot.

I think it's faulty battery.

Change one of this days.

I buy in my component supplier a SIL3512, so I can test the speed.

Waiting patiently for the weekend, to continue testing with the Cyrus +.

Just one question, I have 4 Gb of RAM, but the system only recognizes 2 Gb.

It is normal ? Or some error in a module?

Puff, I have so much problems.

Every 4 of 5 boots fails. WB loads, but without dock and other stuff in WBsttarup. And when boots well, then the
GL games don't work. And I don't know why.
Any idea ??

After a week with a fantastic X5000, the conclusions are:

1.- I am not able to start twice in a row.
2.- Even with the bootable CD, most of the time the system locks when loading the amidock.
3.- My SmartfileSystem partitions simply burst, after more than 6 years in the SAM without problems, in 1 week of X5000 to be taken by ass.
4.- I do not get anything with 3D to work, despite XX € in Warp 3dNova, XX € more in Driver Radeon HD, XX € more in Enhancer Pack. I just can not even pull a fucking DOOM.

Result.

I've thrown a lot of money in the trash,

Well we continued with the problems in my Cyrus, I got it started well (deactivating the amidock). But now no program that uses GL works.

I have reinstalled the minigl, but nothing, they do not work.

Anyone have any idea why?

All give the "impossible to open window" error.

Sounds like you dont have Warp3D for Radeon Southern Islands Cards.
It is not the same thing as Warp3DNova.

Have you checked that the RAM or HD isn't defect...

Sorry to hear that you have these problems. Check Hyperion forum as well if you can get any help there too. Hope you get all sorted.

PS: Maybe even start new thread(s) for each problem with a describing title/topic.

It is amigaos, you can't expected everything "just works" :)
Probably all your lockups happens because you use those bad sound cards of some series which is discussed on hyperion's forum.

As for your problems withn 3d apps: warp3d nova and warp3d(with minigl combo) are different things. Warp3d nova didn't have any stub minigl.library to make all old apps just works. I ask Hans some time ago on aw.net if he know anyone works in aeon on minigl-stub which will "just" transfer all the stuff to warp3d nova, and he say he not aware of. So, while there is no such stub, you forced to have also real Warp3d (not Warp3dNova), and that is mean in turn you should have Radeon Southern Islands Cards only, as they only ones which at the same time support and old Warp3d and new Warp3dNOVA, so you will be able to use all the old stuff.

It is amiga, don't expect everythng just works out of box :)

But i agree, having minigl.library stub which will just sit on top of warp3dnova , and give ability to use all old minigl apps are must to make things more easy. But maybe aeon don't want to do it, as then no one will buy warp3d drivers for those Southern Islands cards :)

HD it's ok. It's a fresh disk. I changed after the first problem.

It's the memory, one module it's defective.
It's the first time I boot 5 times and all work fine.

Did you buy a full system, or (as it sounds like) just a motherboard?

Who did you buy it from? Directly from AmigaKit, or someone else?

I buy the motherboardd alone.

A pair of Kingston 2GB RAM modules ( the referenced in http://wiki.amiga.org/ ) with a 2 sata controllers are bought in my local computer distribuitor.

There's no problem with the board, (Now, locating the problem, it takes 48 hours to run wonderfully, formating a recoping my files in a 1Tb H.D.)

I have a problem with one module of RAM, ( I have another to change now, but with only one runs fine)

So for now, all it's good, ( cross our fingers).
