AmiPhoto crashing on X5000

does anyone here successfully run amiphoto from alinea computing on their X5000? no matter what i do, it freezes immediately on launch with no debug output on the serial bus. i'm not sure if the issue is with the X5000 itself, AOS4.1 FE, the filesystem, etc.

can anyone help here? any feedback is appreciated.

Just can't stay away

On my SAM460ex no problem.

You can try to copy/reinstall to RAM: and without albums/prefs if it loads fine. Do you have all "dependecies/resources":

Just can't stay away

I tried to download the last version but when I logged in the user/pass supplied for the download didn't work.

I'll try and find my backup copy and test it.

what dependencies are there? i never needed to install anything extra on my pegasos 2 -- it worked fine there.

thanks! i'm hoping there's something i'm missing as there's not really a good substitute for amiphoto.

so i took your advice and installed on the local RAM disk. still getting a freeze on launch. here is what is in the amiphoto drawer, both on hard disk and the RAM disk:

dunno if this helps, but AFAIK the installation is fine. i got the archive directly from simon neumann at alinea because the serial numbers he kept giving me wouldn't be accepted as valid on his support site.

Just started same 1.6.0 version than you on my X1000, no problem.

Specific x5000 problem ?
