OpenGL Applications Don't Work - Can't Find Other OpenGL Libs/SObjs :-(

Just popping in

Good evening,

I've been trying to determine why I can't run any OpenGL based executables. The screenblankers crash my screenblanker pref, and I can't run any demos that use OpenGL. I looked for more GL based libraries, but can't find more.

Here is a list of the current Libs that I have that I believe are for OpenGL:
mglut.library minigl.library ogles2.library

And this is the only SObj that I can find that is related to OpenGL: libQtOpenGL.so

Is there some other Libs/SObjs that I need to install (obviously there is)? This is the only other OpenGL library that I can find, but it isn't compiled.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate your help, thanks again guys!

I've tried TinyGL, HWP_GLGalore, StormMESA, SDL2 libraries installed. I'm completely at a loss...

Do you have a card that supports Warpd3d and drivers for it?

If you're trying to run opengl on the X5k i guess you're using some RadeonHD card and that driver is not supplied with the OS or the Enhancer pack.

You need to get Warp3D for RadeonHD Southern Islands cards.

You need :

* A supported Radeon HD card for Warp3D/MiniGL to work
* To buy Warp3D Radeon SI

Looks like these are the specs for the card being shipped with the X5000 from Amiga on the Lake, looks to be a GDDR5 model, which should work (it should be the HIS model):

The package to get from Amistore is "Warp3D RadeonHD southern Islands"

There is some hope that we'll one day be able to run opengl stuff with warp3d nova (with some extra speed boost i hope) but as the warp3d si driver isn't that expensive and it's needed anyway to run stuff that uses w3d directly i would not wait for that.

I just wish that they made it more clear what's needed to get this stuff running, i was there from the beginning so i know this stuff but as a new user i would expect this stuff to just work OOTB.
