The holes are on a 60 mm square and accept M3 screws.

There isn't anything major from preventing such a cooler to work on the X1000, should it be compatible with the X1000's mounting holes, the GPU just has to be inserted in the lower Pcie 16 slot.

I'm not a fan of such a heatsink design either, but billt asked where one can get the MagmaColluseum cooler, which I think is a rebranded Nofan CR-95C as can be seen on this archived page.

60mm square? that's too bad as it seems that neither Intel or AMD ever used such dimensions so A-EON users can't use common PC coolers.

I guess Marcus made custom mounting brackets for the Magma coolers.
