Dandelion Theme 1.1

There seems to be a bug in the Dandelion theme which let the seeds wander off of the screen too far.

My system is now running 5 hours and the seeds where flying from the start on (CANDI starts on boot) but there is not a single seed seen anywhere anymore.
That doesn't happen with the other themes.

Not sure why, but it happens pretty early on that the seeds become scarce, while at the start of the theme there are literally dozens flying around.
Now it looks as if CANDI isn't running anymore at all.

Please fix

@Raziel: The Dandelion should have a random animation, meybe it was a bad "random seed" in your case ;)?
We will look into it.

Yes, i know, and it works quite well.
But the longer the system is up the less seeds are on the screen.

I have the same problem with Dandelion. But my X1000 doesn't lock up at least.

@broadblues for "OpenRecent" in MultiEdit and Multiviewer must be a .xml text file in ENV, right?
I don`t have this file in ENV,MultiEdit+MultiViewer doesn`t create this text file

its a plain text file, example:

It's called "Recent" and sits in "ENV:Multiviewer/"

@broadblues i don` know it, how can lock SYS?

and

The fact that you doesn't know the command makes your SYS: probably unlocked

My SYS have lock off but that doesn`t solve it
I am using NGFilesystem, maybe you need this information

This is not a bug but a missing feature

Multiviewer

Open a long file so you need to scroll to see everything
Open the same file again in another tab

Now scroll down in one of the files
Switch to the other file and back

The file will be displayed at line 1 again.

That is reqlly painful behaviour, because if i need to search for something, have found it, let it rest there and need to check something in the other file, i have to always scroll down to the line i found before...everytime.

It would be really nice to have Multiviewer "remember" the location in a file (scroll page?) where i was, before going back and forth to another file and display that instead of showing the top of the file again.

Your description is a little confusing, you start off talking about loading 1 file in two tabs. Then you talk about switch back forth between two different files. (in the same tab?)

If you have two files in the file list and wish to view them independantly open each file in a new tab (press SHIFT when opening them from the file list, or use RAMIGA-T to open a new tab before opeing the file in it.) Then searching in one will not affect the scroll position in the other.

Using tabs you can actually even view the same file at differing positions.

The key is when you open files from the filelist you create new coppies of each file datatype object, which will be set to initial scroll.

When you flip between tabs you view existing copies and the copy remains in it's current state (even with complex things like html or amigauide with subpages)

So as far I can see the easiest solution to your issue is to adjust your work flow to make use of the tab feature.

Sorry for the confusion.

Yes i meant the file list on the left side.
Loading the same file twice there wil always reload the file at the top.

So, my question would then be, is it possible to open files in new tabs instead of the file list by default?

Currently to open in new tab either

1. Create a New Tab with RAMGA-T First then open the file.

2. Shift click on the file in the file lister.

3. When adding files by drag and drop, droping on the "display" area opens anew tab, droping on the filelist area just adds it to the file list.

I can skip step one as i already have a tab open when loading in a file

Would it be possible to make that an option?
To always open files in tabs instead of the file list?

Bug in AmiStore 0.664

Steps to reproduce

1) Log into your account
2) Choose a product you purchased
3) Go to Comments
4) Choose any comment but your own (if there is one)
Mind you, we are in a comment that is not yours
5) Click on "Edit Comment"
6) You can now edit the other persons comment
On saving it will be saved with the edited message to your username, still it's bad coding to let me edit other user comments in the first place.

MultiEdit 1.5 (28.05.2017) - but it might very well be one of the used classes, MultiEdit displays it, though

There is a display glitch when using a non-default font from the GUI prefs.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Open MultiEdit
2) Type in or load any text
3) Open GUI Prefs
4) Go to "Gadgets"
5) In "General", change the "Gadgets" "Normal font" to "DejaVu Sans Oblique", size 15
6) "Test settings"

You'll immediately see that MultiEdit changes it's text to the newly used font, which is fine, but

7) If you now click into the MultiEdit window the font will partly be changed back to the default one, while other parts stay the same, cutting off certain text lines and generally looking pretty odd and wrong.

NotePad, Multiview and Multiviewer doesn't do that.
