Updater tool: latest releases and updates

I am pleased to confirm that the Polaris 2D and 3D drivers are completed. The 2D driver is called the RadeonRX and latest version is v1.10 (see here: https://www.amisphere.com/updater )

Warp3D Nova has now Polaris 3D support too through a new library called W3DN_GCN.library

We are just completing beta test and these will be available as a paid upgrade to end users soon.

As an existing Enhancer Software user you will be able to download the p50x0_eth.device free of charge from Updater as soon as the Enhancer Software v1.4 is publically released. The complete v1.4 package is also a free update to existing users and is due imminently.

The new RadeonRX and RadeonHD v3.6 drivers are part of the forthcoming Enhancer Software v2 which is a paid upgrade. Very shortly I am going to let users buy an add-on package to the Enhancer Software containing three files:

- RadeonRX v1.10 (2D Polaris graphics driver with 64-bit VRAM support)
- RadeonHD v3.6 (2D graphics driver with 64-bit VRAM support)
- W3DN_GCN.library (3D Polaris library)

This add-on to the Enhancer Software will let users have full Polaris and 64-bit VRAM support now rather than wait for the v2 release. Once the add-on is purchased the components will become active on your AmiSphere account and Updater will permit you to download them.

Will other Software updates, like for example a supposed PPaint 68k update become available through Updater too?
It's a real pity PPaint 7.3b 68k is not working properly on 68k Amigas..

BTW, "playing a test sound" doesn't work (no sound comes from the speaker).

Does work here on AmigaOne-XE with EMU10kx and VIA-AC97 in both the "Sound settings" and "Mode settings" Tabs.

Maybe check in "Mode Settings" if the modes are selected.

Edit: the "Sound settings" Tab has a little "Play" Button on the right instead of a "Play Sound" button.

My Updater tells me there are MultiEdit 1.4 and MultiViewer 2.8 on the server, and my local files are MultiEdit 1.5 and MultiViewer 2.9.

Must be from my recent trip to the future, but I can send you the updated files if you like. (There should not be no legal infringement, I suppose you made the updates in the future anyway..)

If you click the Information button for a selected file in Updater you can view the Change Log. The latest Sound Prefs should show the changes that our sound expert Kevin has made.
