Seems to set frontbuffer to a given bitmap
Then the(RGB or RGBA) bitmap can be used to update a texture...

bmHandle=LockBitMapTags(bm,LBMI_BASEADDRESS,(ULONG)&pixels, TAG_DONE);

glTexImage2D(GL_TEXTURE_2D, 0, 3, w, h, 0,GL_RGB,GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, pixels);

UnLockBitMap(bmHandle);


Untested.... huhh..

That's basically a non-portable way of achieving the same thing.

This is just like television, only you can see much further.

Probably after that one done we can make proper new SDL1 release ? Old one which on os4depot are really very far away in compare with what we have now in repo.

ps. Btw, is it worth to create another BZ about creating for SDL1 release the same 2 versions of library libSDL.a and libSDL-debug.a ? That pretty good how you do it for SDL2.
