Since the update, it doesn`t work any more. No changes are made to any parameters after the update, the player is set to "MUI-mplayer/generic/mplayer".

Maybe. I didn't tested neither MUI-MPlayer nor LiveForIT-MPlayer.

At least it doesn't work anymore with Emotion but works with MickJT-MPlayer.

You were right, MickJT-MPlayer works fine.
I thought that any other MPlayer version should work as it did beforehand and that it was an Emotion specific problem. The only thing announced was a certain YouTube issue that caused SMTube`s Emotion incompatibilities (other players not mentioned, except for MickJT-MPlayer)

So the connection and streamming is handled by the player, not SMTube, hence the https specific errors.

What about "Open audio with -> Downloadvideo.rexx" ? It won`t download an m4a file anymore. I have Download v1.5 (08/11/2017)

What are the options for download?

Actually I can not download the videos, I'm probably missing something in the configuration.
If I use clipgrab to download the videos it works, but it should also work smtube but it does not seem to work.
The paths in the smtube configuration seem right,
Even the smtube.ini file seems to work
I can not help you, I'm sorry

I install http://aminet.net/package/util/libs/AmiSSL-4.2.
