@kas1e 1) sfs vs ngfs - I have NOT noticed small pauses - the game is very smooth even in FullHD. 2) Tested on AmigaOne X1000 beta 3) @Spectre660 use RadeonRX.chip V1.11 POLARIS @amig_os use RadeonHD.chip R9 280X V1.11

@Spectre Is prototype and frikingshark works on your setup ? For Barony am sure its not about warp3d, but can you try it on non_polaris ?

@K-L Yeah, last one should't work, is just for tests. But thanks for trying, it confirm that on non-beta OSes, there seems something strange happens. You have the same 1:1 bug as spectre (non working on SFS was another issue). But he on sam460 with polaris, and you on x1000 with radeon SI (right ?) At moment i can only have info , that when it call inside PHYSFS's "IDOS->Lock", it crashes. Then, i removed that for tests , and it then crashes in the OpenAl's IDOS->DevNameFromLock. That all point out that something weird happens , and any call to IDOS from link libraries fail. But it should't of course, and it works on betas , so dunno at moment ..

@Spectre or K-L (who have time)
Plz run that binary (The same replace Barony.exe from os4depot's archive):
https://www.sendspace.com/file/5irqkb What i try to know from there, it is just pure calls to IDOS from barony's binary fail or not. So, i just put some IDOS->Delays and some IDOS->Lock, and put around of those calls some prinfs.
It will crashes for you, but before, but before it will prinfs new stuff to the console. So plz, show me what you will have in console before crash happens (there shouldbe some [TEST]: lines).
Thanks!
@K-L
Frickingshark and prototype works for you, right ?

@Spectre So.. Pure call to any DOS function from barony's binary crashes ! Wtf ! :) Are you waiting a little before actual crash happens ? After every call it wait for about 10 seconds.

@Spectre
Yeah, that mean that first IDOS->Delay() make it crash.
Ok, next simple binary, just run it from ram, without needs for barony.lha:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/1gjb38 Will it write you more info to output and no crash, or , it will be again only "before IDOS->Delay call" and crash.

@TitredOfLive
What version you try of test , and what version you try of barony, and on what setup you are and on what partition you are ?
Last test working for you and spectre is not barony, its independent test.
@Spectre
Try another test case plz:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/yfml9d just from ram:, it should create dir .barony and or crashes then, or write the same to console as before and didn't crash

@kas1e SFS 1.293 and Ram Tested each of the tests in this thread with Barony downloaded from OS4Depot. Yeah I understood that last test was not Barony and ran it on it's own in Ram. Haven't downloaded the additonal files from Steam or whatever yet. Cheers
