But for me it wasn't change of graphics card, but problem was 1:1 the same. Maybe through it was on some stage of graphics.library changes, do not remember. What i remember is that problem the same, and i fix it by deleting some configs. Even if he will swap another card back, and black screen will disappear, there is problem with same roots (probably in game itself)

Reviving an old thread... I bought the Battle Squadron Deluxe Edition from cope.com a few days ago. The game doesn't work on my Radeon RX-560 card: I get the black screen problem which was fixed in the recently released demo version. The demo works fine for me, so can I please get the fixed full version? I could find no link for the update on the cope.com page. Thanks!

Strictly spoken it's not a fix but an extension of the game to support newer RadeonHD gfx-cards and their drivers which were released later than the game and which lack support for an otherwise always supported bitmap format, plus another workaround for those drivers
Anyway, please tell me (pm) your mail-address.

EDIT: you got mail

Out of curiosity, where can I get the OS4 version? I was unable to find it on a quick search.

Amdedia seem to be the only dealer that have it in stock now.

It would be nice to have the Game available in AmiStore additionaly to a physical Copy. This way we can support Daniel & CopeCom even if the Collectors Editions aren't in Stock any longer.

Hi Daniel, i know i already asked You about an AmiStore Release. I think it's an good Idea to push AmiStore forward and to keep good Software & Games available.

I agree. The physical copy is not much of a collector's edition anyway: it's just a run-of-the-mill plastic DVD box with a "Thank you" note and a small-sized poster inside. An AmiStore release would make every sense.

Yes, I'll ask Cope-Com what they think about it.

Ahhh, no no, the contrary is true!
- the CD contains not just the AOS4 version but also OCS, MorphOS, OSX and Win32.
- all CDs are fully hand-made by Torben, he printed the inlays and covers, burned the CDs, applied the CD-covers, put it into plastic, eventually put a ribbon on it etc.
- the inlays made a long trip: Torben (Denmark) sent them to Martin (Italy), he sent them to me (Germany) and I sent them back to Torben.
Our signatures aren't printed. Three serious tennis elbows were produced during the making of the inlays

Now if that isn't something worth collecting

I for sure didn't mean any disrespect, and I'm glad I've bought the game. All I'm saying is that once you remove the ribbon and the wrapping foil, you're pretty much left with a standard plastic DVD box with a signed inlay For someone who has no idea about the hand-making story behind it the "collector's edition factor" may be hard to discover

Knowing the story helps, yes
