AmiUpdate list stripped?
Home away from home
Home away from home

See User information
There used to be an extensive list of possible updatable content here.

This has been stripped to the bare minimum of AmigaOS4.1 update 1, MUI and MUI contribs.

Anyone know why?
This also used to be quite a nifty list to look up latest versions of programs.

And the strangest thing, use the same address, but with https:// in front ( https://update.amigaos.net/ ) and it will take you to hyperion-entertainment.biz...

Not sure where AU belongs to, but i found some bugs

In Settings/Open Preferences... on the Server tab

1)
If you have one entry set as "Use this Server for self update", go to another server, double-click to reach it's settings, change nothing and SAVE.
The checkmark on "Use this Server for self update" on the other entry will always be removed.

Looks like a wrong check for if that entry "Use this Server for self update" has been changed.

2)
If you keep any server in the list "Disabled", e.g. www.amiupdate.net, it will still ALWAYS check that server, even disabled.

Yes, i have SAVEd AND USEd the settings and i even checked the .xml settings file for if my changes were saved at all (they were).
I even shut down and restarted AU, still the same bug.

Can only be worked around by completely erasing the unwanted server from the list.

Rigo is in charge of AmiUpdate himself, including bug reports.

The bug tracker is here: http://amiupdate.codebench.co.uk/bugtracker/bughome.php
