Okay, that could explain things. Strange thing is that U-Boot did find the Stelladaptor during boot, it is the only thing connected permanently to USB ports, and 1 USB device is reported found in the first U-Boot screen.
@acefnq
I noticed the thread, and actually found the solution from it. With front panel USB ports now activated in U-Boot, both Stelladaptor and Nokia devices are found again, and AmigaInput works again, too - hurrah!

Just installed... I had to reboot 3 times before it worked correctly !
First Time: A lot of DSI Error (starting with eth3com, then USB...) followed by a full crash ("press left mouse button..." msg) Second Times: Everythings worked fine... But the KB did worked properly (The "s" worked fine... but a most others seemed to think that the {Amiga} Key was also pressed... So another reset...
And the third time was the Good One... Now it works fine !
Thanks Hyperion for the Update !

Defender of my A1XE-G4 / AOS4 Final Update ! Looking for a new toy ? Then try a GP2X...
USB works fine here, finally my front ports are recognised and Amigainput seems far more stable. Opening my sdcards also seems a hell of a lot faster but warm reboot seems to take alittle longer.
The USB stack should now be able to delay booting until the USB bus was enumerated, thats necessary when you want to use an USB mouse or keyboard to enter bootmenu but increases the boot time when USB devices are attached.

Which works quite nicely.

* The new dos.library still has broken #() pattern-matching.
I still have minor probs with my USB keyboard. The first key pressed after boot doesn't get recognized. So the first thing i type after boor comes out ike this.
> the write protection oddity for the ZIP drive is still there
I had hoped this would have been fixed in the update. I remember reading that it had been fixed already and would be in the "next" update. A pity as this has been forgotten as it does make the Zip drive rather useless when you cannot write to it.

The one device is the root hub of either the front or rear USB ports.

I've been trying to get "ExtraInfo" to run via FKey and get errors. The program calls - Jhead and errors out on WinInfo file. This is a internal DOS problem?
Unless you had success with ExtraInfo prior to the update, and it only stopped working after the update, your problem is probably with ExtraInfo, NOT the July OS4.0 Update.
Concerning ExtraInfo, you e-mailed me a screenshot with your problem, and I suggested that you try something and then get back to me (but you never did).
Again, this is probably a problem with ExtraInfo; and I would like to get it fixed for you; but we should not be using this forum topic to do it.
I'm getting some strange behavior. I have had some random lockups and grim reapers with app's like Ibrowse, Simplemail and TuneNet. I don't know if its a MUI or network connection or something totaly unrelated between them. My machine did boot to a black screen this time aswell but a warm reset loaded things ok.

Have I do to copy AmigaInput from update#4 to get it working on July update?
I am really surprised that we don't have yet a native,July native version of AmigaInput.
Anyone can explain me how to get it working with July update?
I have a CD32 gamepad and a USB pad too to play games and emulators,so I hope someday I can use it.
AmigaInput is a MUST HAVE for the AmigaOne.
Any ideas?
