The original plan was to use them for OS 4.2 which was abandon five years ago in favour of another design.

The idea was to have a lighter design for OS 4.2 which does not fit with the icons you will find in the archive. Another point was that the icons take to long to load and scale on older Amigas.

Since more or less five years I am working on a new icon set featuring a more leaner and cleaner design. The key elements and philosophy of this icon set were already used for the OS 3.14 glowicons.
