@all
Got a mouse with lots of buttons, and want to know if there some settings to setup 4st/5st buttons actions in the workbench, as well as if there any test programm to check if they works.

Also some source code examples handling those buttons for os4 will be of good help too.

Thanks!

You can test the buttons (and lots of other stuff) with InputEventSniffer (http://os4depot.net/share/utility/misc/inputeventsniffer.lha)

Thanks, treid , but sadly i found only 2 event's to be logged related to mouse : IECLASS_RAWMOUSE and IECLASS_MOUSEWHEEL, correct ? If so, then the only way to catch 4st/5st mouse buttons, it to set IECLASS_RAWMOUSE, which then, flooded with all kind of values, and it unpossible to made a normal check on 4st/5st (or any other) buttons.

@All

At least i found that "fkey" commoditie know about 4st and 5st mouse buttons. That good

Same for DirMeUp if "use 4th/5th buttons" box is checked in the program prefs.
4th button also works for Workbench Explorer.

Try Ibrowse and the 4th button let you go one page back and the 5th one page forward.
too bad this behavior does not work in Odyssey which is strange since it is supposed to be handled through MUI AFAIK.

That just not the MUI's work to handle mouse buttons, so it programmer do so.

Anyway, next beta of odyssey will have 4st/5st mouse buttons works the same as in ibrowse for going back/forward.
