@all
Thanks for all the suggestions.

@walkero
Thanks for the video link and for your work in updating to the new version.
I noticed that some videos cannot be opened
they seem to be the somewhat restricted ones like music videos.
Am I wrong in setting the configuration program of aiostreams?
or is it normal?
Thank you.

Also I can't set the video format setting I can only use -q 18 seems to have changed the way of the video format configuration.

If I try to set Emotion (version 1.9) it gives me this I / O error and does not open the video instead from the command line in most cases the video opens without problems. (excluding those with restriction).
While it works perfectly with MickJT-MPlayer (excluding some music videos etc.)
Thanks for any suggestions.
And thanks again for your work

@Skateman
Thanks for the video you put in it works perfectly.

@Petrol
The arexx script with the line you suggested works but it can't open the video and mickJT-MPlayer gives me this error:
MickJT-MPlayer-1.0.1.1.3.0
Playing <url>
libavformat version 57.25.100 (internal)
Cannot seek backward in linear streams!

the config file it points to is the same one I use as suggested in @Skateman's video and this is what I added in the menu without using the arexx script:
python sys: utilities / aiostreamns / youtube.py -u% l -shh
in this case it works without errors on the part of mickJT-MPlayer

instead this is what I use to use your arexx script in Odyssey nenu:
c: rx Work: aiostreams / my_script.rexx% l
then I added in the script my_script.rexx:
WHEN website = "Youtube" THEN address command 'Work: aiostreams / youtube.py -shh -u' url '-q 22'
I also tried -q 18 or -q 360
everything works but when I open the video it gives me this message:
MickJT-MPlayer-1.0.1.1.3.0
Playing <url>
libavformat version 57.25.100 (internal)
Cannot seek backward in linear streams!

if you have other suggestions I appreciate them gladly
Thanks again.

Hi White,

Did you type manually or copy and paste from my previous post.
Take a close look, especially spaces!

Yours:
WHEN website "Youtube" THEN address command 'Work: aiostreams / youtube.py -shh -u' url '-q 22'

Mine:
WHEN website "Youtube" THEN address command 'C:Python Work:aiostreams/youtube.py -shh -u ' url ' -q 22'

Regards,

Thanks again for the help.
The string is written correctly paying attention to spaces.
to post the message I made a copy and paste for convenience
but the script wrote it manually
I tried again but the error is the same
I'm sorry but it doesn't seem to work.

My fault sorry,

It lacks the C:Python in the command I wrote before:

WHEN website = "Youtube" THEN address command 'C:Python Work:aiostreams/youtube.py -shh -u ' url ' -q 22'

It should work now.

Petrol

Thanks for the help I had already tried this way.
The script seems to work but it is at the time of streaming that mickjT-Mplayer fails.

While with the method used by Skateman the videos start without problems.

I believe somehow using the .rexx script MickjT-MPlayer doesn't work properly.
I mean the player not the .arexx script.

the video output appears but then it says this:
MickJT-MPlayer-1.0.1.1.3.0
Playing <url>
libavformat version 57.25.100 (internal)
Cannot seek backward in linear streams!

What’s the exact YouTube url you tested?
I’ll tried it on mine.

Édit: your script don’t work because you are using a mobile YouTube url.
Add it to the url test first where it starts by:
WHEN (substr(url,

Your previous screenshots show that the url parsed via the Rexx command start by https://m.youtube, but in your script you only send to YouTube.py the url that start by https://www.youtube and https://youtu.be (url test part).
Add one with https://m.youtube, with substr(url,1,17).

hmmm... Odd that YT.rexx isn't working for you. I'd suggest it's likely
either a configuration problem or that you don't have the latest versions
of YT.rexx or Mplayer installed.

I'm able to stream your URL from IBrowse with this FAB Menu:

Action = ARexx
Command = internet:yt/yt.rexx
Args = %l silent autoplay skipdash

I was also able to load the stream URLs in IBowse using this FAB menu entry:

Action = ARexx
Command = internet:yt/yt.rexx
Args = %l html ibrowse silent

Otherwise, you could try sending MickJT a PM to see if he can help you.
There are some DRM videos that need his beta version to play, but it
doesn't look like your URL is one of them (??).

Good luck,

PJS

Thank you for your suggestion.
YT works even if as you said it has problems with the reproduction of some DRM.

this is the command I use with Odyssey:
LINK YT
c:rx Work:YT/YT.rexx %l silent autoplay

I had to put aside for the moment the arexx script seems not to work at least in my configuration.
While AIO works perfectly and I can also see multiple videos at the same time but it seems to have problems with DRM.

@walkero
How do I choose "22" with AIO?
Excuse the question but I can't do it, can you help me
Thank you.
I also tried twitch.tv directly on your site it works perfectly.
Thanks again.

You can use 22 in Youtube in two different ways. You can either put it first on vqw.py file at line 34, as seen at the file:
https://github.com/walkero-gr/aiostreams/blob/master/vqw.py#L34

This will be the default selection.
Or you can use the -q arg, like
python youtube.py -u https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFt7F5ZGahk -q 22
