Who is responsible for the "copy" dialog window on WB (when i drag&drop a file)?

(I'm not sure if it's part of the system, ASyncWB maybe, C:Copy or something else)

Because when i copy large files/directories i get artefacts of the drop shadow, most visible on the top right (the windows upper border).
Another problem is the intermittant activation of the window (even if it *is* already active.
This seems to cause the drop shadow artefacts.
You can even see the whole dropshadow going black for a short time.

Another thing is that even if the same file (big one) is copied and the name in the top border stays the same, the name is constantly flickering.

My GUI settings are
- Compositing on
- Optimize for Performance
- Syncronize with vertical refresh
and drop shadows
X 6 Y 6
Smoothness 6
Active 75
Inactive 50

Any advice?

AsyncWb is in the domain of Hyperion. The underlying copy process is DOS Lib (Hyperion)

when the new datatypes.library causes so much trouble - is there a newer/hotfix-version too like for infowb?

I see no point updating as it is now, too many problems, and no benefits for X1000 users, as I can’t use RX cards.

I think I wait for problems yogi32 is talking about is fixed.

Beta Testers will file bug reports for the effects of issues that we can replicate.

I have not encountered the majority of the issues encountered by yogi32.

It is very likley that something in his System configuration, Hardware or Software, is triggering the issues.
Without him being able to pinpoint what so his configuration can be duplicate as near as possible to allow the issues to be replicated directly addressing the problem is difficult.

One of the possible scenarios would be another 3rd party datatype triggering the issues .

photocd.datatype is not compatible with enhancer 2.0 tools like multiviewer.

Found the culprit

CANDI's constant screen updates interfere with the copy window updates while copying.

Would it make any sense to file a report?

I am wondering if it could be something to do with audio triggering the crash.

The thumbnails within PTP window are not being shown anymore when connecting a phone:



The only step i tried so far was reverting to the previous version of the datatypes.library and datatypes but it didn't helped.

While reading through your logs i've found another difference to my system. While you are using a 2018 U-Boot Version i have the following:

Hi Everyone,

When I get a chance, I will update all my datatypes to make sure they are the latest versions and I will re-test the datatype library again. I will also list all the datatypes I have and what version they are. Hopefully I get some time this weekend to do it.

If it is correct that this file is being deleted by Install_Enhancer_Software script than theres something wrong with "AK-JFIF" which doesn't act as a full replacement for "JPEG" Datatype in all cases (PTP window for example, maybe other applications are affected too).
