Can somebody explain to me how i get X/dock to work with CPUdock.docky. I copied the dockys to utilties and Dockies. Then i should drag and drop it on a new Xdock. I just get the icon on it nothing. I dont see any action when it comes to the CPUdock.

Wasn't xDock using a different API for embedded dockies?

As far as I can remember no AmiDock dockies work with xDock.

The ones from the zTools package originally were done for AmiDock...nit sure if that changed in the meantime.

Rule of thumb:
If it's called a .docky it's for AmiDock.
If it's called a .dockapp it's for xDock.

Maybe we'll someday get more dockapps and the same usability in xDock.
I'd love to switch to a maintained dock.

In the meantime, there's nothing preventing anybody from using both, if you prefer.

Make an XDock for the things you want in that, and an AmiDock for things like the ZTools and CPUInfo dockies etc.

They can live happily next to each other (as opposed to certain other "enhanced" components).

Best regards,

Niels
