using both ethernet ports on sam440ep

I have a Sam440ep that is connected to the internet on ethernet port 1 via a direct connection on a Hughesnet satellite modem. It's pretty slow. I am wondering if I could hook ethernet port 0 to a router that gets to the internet via a Verizon MIFI that is faster than the Hughesnet device.

I'm not sure the amiga IP stack supports multihoming, and AFAIK the ethernet port driver doesn't support the second port. Of course, you could plug your first port into the mifi.

Thanks. I'm away from my Sam right now. I will let you know if my idea works. I will take your advice and just use one port to get on the internet. I have a cradlepoint that I have used before in another application.
