Correct, it is of no use. Furthermore, the reason it fails is that it is missing the colon (:) after the first argument (AmiCygnix).
If you had put that colon in, the Assign would work, as in making a virtual volume called AmiCygnix: pointing to the same place as the Cygnix: one you create in the next Assign line.
In which case it would still not be used (since you use Cygnix:, not AmiCygnix: for the following Execute), but it would at least be harmless and not give you an error during boot.
