I have similar problems as you in YAM.On the 6 accounts I have I can only send and receive with the recent one.
If you want you can go to gmail.com and there change the option on settings "allow applications less secure" under settings I remember.
All I can say that I've lost my accounts flexibility to do things that they did in the past very well.
Have luck Nuder_Try
And if someone can help me with YAM please do it.
Thanks

According to the Account Configuration page of your ISP receiving mails (POP3 and IMAP) uses SSL but for sending mails (SMTP) TLS is used instead. Not sure if special support is required at all, but does YAM support TLS, or only SSL?
@Nuder_Try If it's still maintained, try sending mails with SimpleMail. If both YAM and SimpleMail don't work it's a problem in AmiSSL, if sending mails with SimpleMail works it's a problem in YAM.
Try changing the POP3 settings such as TLS/SSL and put at 995 with SSL enabled.
Then check all of the other settings and who knows if you succeded
All the best

Try if using port 25, 2525 or 465 instead of 587 works for SMTP (sending mails). Not really standard, but several email providers install workarounds for old software on these ports.
Just go to gmail ,enter your account details and change "Allow aplications less secure" to the yes tick.
Nuder_Try isn't using GMail but the mail server of his ISP.
However if he has an GMail account, or another EMail account which supports fetching mails from other accounts, configuring the other mail provider to fetch the mails from the ISP mail server and YAM from the other email provider that might be an usable workaround.
Dumb question, but did you try with security to none for your smtp settings?
On another site, there is these infos:
Quote:
