DvPlayer v54.9 SkipTo no longer works

-Open up an AVI file
- Attempt to skip half way through
- See that the video starts from the beginning

I have reverted back to 54.8.

Not sure if I did something wrong in the update, but if it really is a binary drop in replacement, then this is some sort of regression.

Interesting, it only happens with some AVI files.

AVI files can be indexed or not indexed. Even VLC struggles with seeking in non indexed files. Are you sure your files aren't the problem?

Sure, but I can skip with 54.8 and not with 54.9...

I can provide more encoding information later.

Version changes:

- Added a workaround to compensate for DTS/PTS difference in seeking when seeking is based on DTS (e.g., MP4 files).

This fixes an annoying behaviour with many MP4s, where the first 7-10 seconds get skipped, or are jerky.

Okay. I cannot complain. I appreciate all the work and I can always use a different version if need be.

IF you want create bugreports (the only chance they will be fixed and not lost in the forum posts) its to register on http://www.amiga.org/developer/bugreports/my_view_page.php , and made bug reports there.

Through for now this Mantis page acts bad and you need to reload it offten to avoid server's issues, but Mattew should soon migrate to another server so all will be fine.

Anyway, that base of reports is backuped offten, so if you want your report be known, it need to be reported there.

I will make a bug report and also get some encoding information using linux to go a long with it. Will do that in the next few days.
