LIST from AmigaKIT is not working.

LIST locale/catalogs/#?/#?.catalog LFORMAT "makedir *"my.lha/%p*"*ncopy *"%p%n*" *"my.lha/%p*"" >t:b2-catalogs

10.Work:pro_2020/analog-cheap-disk-os4> version c:list full
List 54.8
(Jun 21 2021) Copyright (C) 2021 AmigaKit Ltd.

The problem is that %p is not returning the actual path, its returning #? From the input argument.

And it looks like #? does not work correctly in general.

My workaround is rewriting this and filtering it with GREP, but problem with GREP is that its not preinstalled, so people without a SDK installed, will have problems.

List V54.10 beta with all the changes:

Fixed bug that caused soft-links to be listed together with directories if
DIRS was used, even if they would point to a file.

Fixed bug that caused superfluous characters to be displayed when using the
%m option in LFORMAT. Was caused by a missing string termination.

Now soft-links aren't listed as "Soft" but as files or dirs depending on
the type of object that they point to.

Added TYPE and REVERSETYPE sort method to sort depending on object's file
or dir status.

Added total file size in bytes/KB/MB/GB/TB in directory and total stats.

ERROR_BAD_TEMPLATE no longer causes it to stop when ALL is also given.
This error can be triggered by directory names that contain wildcard
characters like parentheses.

"No information for ..." error message now reports the correct directory name
that an error occured.

Some code cleanup and optimizations.

Not sure if it also covers your bug.
I will test your case when I get back home...maybe someone else will be faster.

Original bug is still there, but it probably works with
Quote:

LIST all locale/catalogs/ #?.catalog LFORMAT "makedir *"my.lha/%p*"*ncopy *"%p%n*" *"my.lha/%p*""

?

@Raziel

you changed it...

LIST catalog/#?/#?.catlog

should list all files under

catalog/Norway/norway.catalog
catalog/Italia/Italia.catalog
catalog/..ETC../#?catalog

"/#?/" means all directories in catalog directory.

LIST has to work recursively with its pattern matching, for this to work, correct.
