@Primax thank you for this question. We are in betatest so there are no fixes to be made (whether in my code or in the 3D libraries). Finally… not everything is activated yet and there are a few surprises, otherwise it wouldn't be fun, would it?
@HunoPPC Great release. It works great on my X5000/40 system and seems pretty stable. Tested it with the latest Enhnacer beta version. And also did some benchmarking with different resolutions.
Although the FPS do not matter yet, since this is not the final release but mostly a beta version, what seemed weird to me is that the selected resolution and quality configuration didn't seem to make huge difference.
Running the timedemo I got the same FPS on 1080p resolution and Ultra Graphics Quality with a 800x600 with low quality. Which for me it means that the bottlenecks are very specific and if these are fixed we will see a big increase of the performance.
But overall a great and promising work on this engine port. Thank you so much for working on it.
Great video but with a kind of some nasty modern Metal music,I hate it,but fits well with the Doom 3 game

I will need to buy a new gfx-card.Mine is an ATI Radeon HD 5450.
Where can I buy one? And at which expense?
Thanks

Thank you very much for your feedback, yes we notice the same symptoms on our machines and we will try to understand and especially to target this bottleneck (very present with such a game it feels even more). I am compiling my code on pc and my first tests show that my code works well and I get in 800x600 on an I7 gfx intel card with the AmigaOS4 folder and its config 120 fps I have to compile with gl4es on pc to see now (i have no staticlib win32)
Yeah but which models to play Return To Castle Wolfstein or this Doom 3 port?

I do not understand the question … Already if we look closer RTCW only uses opengl1x rendering without bumpmapping and native shaders and of course we find the same bottleneck as with Doom3. Just find where it goes wrong and everything will unlock quickly and our games will fly.
Important : with a compatible gfx card Best regards

@MamePPCA1 Try to find radeonRX 580 gfx card. I guess you have power supply that have pcie power 8pins/6pins. Those cards require atleast 1 or 2 such extra power.
Can't log into AmiSphere or Updater today? I know I bought the latest Enhancer pack a while ago but not sure if v2.2 we need to test Doom3 ws juts recently released?
