From joerg's comment above, I understand that although we complained so many times in the past about these applications, contacting A-Eon in different ways, it seems they didn't even bother to contact joerg and ask for an updated version. I really wonder why.
A-EON and Amiga Kit did try to contact me, several times, but I had some serious problems in the past years and had to install an e-mail filter removing anything AmigaOS related from my inbox.
Sorry for that, but it's not A-EONs fault.

Thanks for all the clarification on this. Can you tell what needs to be done for the AmigaOS4 users to able to use amiDVD on our machines again? Would be great if we can somehow sort this out.

AmigaOne X5000 -> 2GHz / 16GB RAM / Radeon RX 550 / ATI X1950 / M-Audio 5.1 -> AmigaOS 4.1 FE / Linux / MorphOS
Amiga 1200 -> Recapped / PiStorm CM4 / SD HDD / WifiPi connected to the NET
Vampire V4SE TrioBoot
RPI4 AmiKit XE

Can’t have too many donations before it becomes a problem.
I don't want any money for it, unless you want to have a fix very soon.
I'll definitely fix the current problems with AmiDVD (as well as any other OS4 software from me), but currently I can't guaranty any time line. Maybe it's done in 2 weeks, but maybe it'll take 6 months.

Thank you for that clarification. I hope we will see updated versions and A-Eon will do whatever they can for this to happen.

Thank you joerg.

AmiDVD is my favourite CD burning software. It is easy to use, and I have made many backup discs over the years (mostly bootable backup recovery disc after an upgrade). It's always nice to be able to fall back to a CD that works. Thumbs up.

Thanks for clarification. Just for the record: I solely bought the Enhancer Package for your software (Partition Wizard, SFS et al.).

(And the update for Tunenet by Andy, of course...)

I hope you can come back to Amiga coding and have fun, again.

OS4 is really a great piece of software and it improves greatly old amigaos experience on NG systems.

New version works fine, waiting when Mattew will release new Enhancer update. When that will be done only Mattew know, but should be not that far.

No, usually it's "two more weeks".

The question is, of course: Is "soon" longer or shorter than "two more weeks"?

(Tune in in two weeks for the answer to this and possibly other questions ...)

Best regards,

Niels

I have strong feeling it will be a lot less than two weeks …
