2022 - August - Huenison Competition - Ended

Hi everyone,

It is August and time for a new competition. This month we will be playing a game by RETREAM called Huenison!



ANOTHER VISITOR... PLAY A WHILE, GO MAD FOREVER!

And so you think you will succeed where everybody else has failed. I, Huenison, the Evil Master in charge of the conquest of your world, will see to it that you fail miserably.
Yes, conquest.
Why? Because.
Unfair? Who cares. But enough, I am not wasting further time here. Go away. Or, if you're really serious about it, come down into my deep Mind Control Wells and... die.

Huenison is an innovative arcade shooter that takes various elements from Arkanoid, BOH, Decathlon, Dyna Blaster, Impossible Mission, Oil's Well, Pac-Man, Pang, Qix, Slam Tilt, Space Invaders, Tetris and Vital Light, and puts them together in a hectic mix. All in retro visuals and synthetic sonorities that recall the revered Commodore 64's SID chip.

The goal of the contest is to see who can get the highest score in the game! Who will be the Amigans.net champion of Huenison by RETREAM?

Post scores below - screenshots or photos taken with your cellphone is fine. The game does have an Online highscore table as well, but best to put the scores here for everyone to see.

Contest runs until the end of the month (August 31st).

My result - nothing special, it is not my kind of game :D

back home from vacation last night & straight to my X1000 to play Huenison Here's my best score after basically playing all day and only stopped because I'm starting to see random quick flashing bright colours every where I look...and my wife is yelling for me to clean up my luggage

I remember when I first tried it when it was initially released and thought what the hell is this? But like alot of RETREAM's games they aren't just start game and start shooting but once you glance over the manual and get killed a zillion times you start getting hang of what blocks to hit to maximize damage/ points and save your reflexes and things get more interesting once you dig in to beat your high score 'just' one more time

The scoreboard has now been updated. 328gts is in the lead with 99,677 points!
