X-MOTO (the version from os4depot) start crashing years ago, even on original warp3d with radeon9250. I.e. this surely issue with the game port itself and not with novabridge.

That one interesting ! Is crashlog point out on 3d stuff ? Just to be sure that it's not game's issue.

Yeah, looks pretty much is it. Have a chance to test it with Warp3D_SI if you on RadeonHD ? If not, i can test it on pegasos2 with original warp3d and radeon9250, to see, if it game's issue or novabridge one.

Do you have account on aeon's bugtracker ?

Do you have the possibility to connect your peg2 to a monitor capable of 2560*1440. Theres a problem with WarpView when using resolution higher than 1920*1080. It will crop the screen. I don't know if this problem exists also with RadeonHD & W3D-SI because in the past i did not had a monitor supporting such a high resolution. This Problem has also been reported here by another user.

Ok, but I found another problematic game - Quake 2 HD. I have 100% working on the X1000 R9 270 and Warp3d SI. On the X5000 with Polaris RX560 and Nova Bridge I have 2 x GR window, if ignore errors then crash.

Can give a link to the version you tried, so i can test too on x1k wit both si and bridge ?

And post crashlog if you can.

Did you tried that on x5k or on x1k ? Because if you tried with x1k and w3d si and then novabridge on x5k, it can be x5k issues (like alignment errors we have few times)

Game link

Earlier I tried to run this game 3 times and always after resetting the system Quake 2 HD crashed. Now I try run game again I tried to collect logs and surprisingly the game did not crash. The only little problem I noticed is the blinking belt in the game menu. On the left you have X5000 040 Radeon RX & Nova Bridge, on the right x1000 Radeon R9 270 Warp 3D SI.

Maybe it was crashy becasue previous memory were trashed by some other game you tried ? Cheking after reboot always good thing.. But i will check myself for sure.

Thanks for video, yeah, that the same problem i noticed before with other Huno's games. For example Smoking Guns have the same blinking issue in Menu (and only in Menu). And i remember that in some conditions i do have the same blinking (but a little bit less noticed) on radeon9250 on pegasos2.

My bet, is that Huno's games (some of them at least) do some hacking in terms of WaitTOF/Wait and double-buffering, so, with some drivers and speed it can be like this, or like that.

But for this issue for sure we can collect things and create on report where find our finding, so we will know if it nova doing something or just game's indeed a bit hacked and manifest like this on nova.

Deleting the Warp3DSI removed the DSI on WipeOut

Still have no sound. But when I exit I get an error that maybe can point towards the problem. Here is a link to the screengrab.

I am using the Creative Labs Soundblaster Audigy FX (24bit/192kHz 5.1) with the HD audio driver. Latest version 6.8.

The problem is not only Huno games. I also found a flashing fragment and much more blinking in the case of SOMS 3D.

i followed the link kas1e provided above (http://aminet.net/search?readme=warp3D) and tried 7-8 demos. About 5 of them worked but all of them without sound. Is this something expected or I am missing something? On one of them I was able to choose which AHI setting I wanted and tried all possible comibnations and nothing, which is a shame, some of them are really good looking demos.

If those you try do use chips directly, then no sound it is expected. If they use ahi, then sound should be there :)

Which ones you try so i can check too and report what/where/etc ?

Had to go over again, didn't take notes :)

- POC by Red Devils guru but can continue without sound. It will eventually freeze and had to reset. I just realized it is not WarpUp.
- Unclume CdBS -- Does nothing
- DSoaB CdBS -- This one. It asks for AHI audio mode, but nothing works. Demo plays great, just no sound.
- resetkani AGS -- Works, no audio, maybe b/c it is an invitiation?
- Meademo IV 2 by Artwork -- Works w/audio
- Association -- Works no audio, hangs on exit (full screen)
- Kioea by Madwizards -- Works great w/audio
- Greuh!Zillement beta -- Does nothing
- 212 by Madwizards -- Works w/audio, had to reset, didn't read readme how to exit, if exists.
- Sulaco by Encore -- Works great w/audio

It looks like Unclume CdBS did something earlier to my audio because now some of the above were working fine after I started from scratch. I'll keep low expectations in the future since you mentioned if demo is using chips directly, it will not work. Thanks!

The crash i've reported earlier is not bound to the Demo Version of Gorky 17. It also occurs in another app using MiniGL by showing the same (upper) calls in the Stack trace. In the second case it only needs longer to occur, approx 15 mins.

I've put that information into the Bug Report 933 i've created earlier. But i am not able to edit Title and Description there.

Be sure that when you test warpos with warp3d apps, then if they works or not about warpos emolation (so to ReWarp authors to check), NovaBridge just about graphics part if thing works at all.

But those demos were usually _very_ buggy, and of course that even some of them works its quite good. All of them will surely never works :)

Quote:

I tested it when tested novabridge on beta stage, and this one was which not works good: when you run it, demo just fast-fast show all effets and exit, even music only plays a little bit for 1-2 seconds.

I compared this demo with those which works : another dream away, fate fits karma, heavy traccif, third eye conqueror and till i feel you - in all of them there is env_server and snd_server binaries in the root. But with Cruel Karma Forms there is none. Which point out us that in this demo code different, and they do something differntly. They even bring a requester for 3D mode to choose (while they do not in later working demos).

So or demo just buggy, or we meed with some problems with ReWarp (warpos emulation) there. That all need some tinkering with and debugging, but as all the gfx in that 2 seconds renders correctly, my bet is that NovaBridge there do all fine in their area. But that need some debugging or maybe asking Kiero what differences in Kruel Karma Forms with other demos, if he still remember about :)
