FAKK is wherry like Heretic 2 style of playing, yes it did have a Linux port, but it was sublicensed to Loki Entertainment, so these changes might not have been pushed upstream.

FAKK2 is not open source. Only the game code was released, which is only useful if you want to create mods. Without the engine (which is not vanilla-Quake3), it's useless for creating ports.

This is just like television, only you can see much further.
